my insurance connected me with this company. I called to check how far and )3 days 45 minutes. 15 minutes later we called to confirm. The dispatcher didn't let me finish and in an annoyed voice commented that I called 7 minutes ago and he says 45 minutes ( I can confirm in my phone it was 20 minutes). I took a breath and spoke to him in a calmer version of the way he spoke to me and said it actually had been longer and just wanted updated time. Told him uf he didn't want to help answer my question. I'd let him be. I hung up. He called back and just got very rude and raised his voice at me . I tried to get a word in and he just yelled more and canceled tow and hung up. Yeah I raised voice but only after he did. I feel better going in this temp and seeing similar experiences. I'm sure the guy will just defend himself but he was the one who started it and just kept defending himself . It worked out for the best because somehow 20 minutes later the guy was still saying 45 minutes and the insurance hooked me up with someone 15 minutes away So thanks for helping us out by hanging up and getting us much better service. This place is a SCAM. This is not even a real towing company. It's an underground money glitch. They wait on the corner and wait for you to get out take your car once you leave for 5 minutes. BEWARE!!. They left us in 2° weather and we weren't from the area we traveled from an hour away. Tejera towing doesnt follow proper procedures or business practices that you would expect as a customer. you cannot find them on google, the only way to contact them is a random drivers cell #. Virtually the most unprofessional, incompetent, and rude individuals I've ever encountered in any business, ever. Period. Do NOT do business with this company. They hung up on me twice, canceled my tow, and refused to tell me where they were taking my car. They threatened to leave my car on the side of the road because they couldn't get it to the single BIGGEST car dealerships in all of stroudsburg. They refused to even google it. This is by far the worst company I have ever worked with. Both my husband and I communicated with 3 different people and all of them were unprofessional and rude when speaking to us. They were not flexible or understanding. They made things difficult and tried to argue with us. We had scheduled a tow to pick up our car from a dealership parking lot. This was done through a third party website where we would get cash to scrap our car. We are telling said company that we recommend they drop this towing company because of the way they treated us and caused us so many more issues. The first day we had the pickup scheduled, we are told the towing company would call us when they were on their way. This never happened. I called at the end of the pickup window to ask when we can expect the tow. The towing company did not inform us they would be late. We called and were greeted with a groan and "Talk." The person on the phone told us they would be 4 hours late due to traffic. Instead, they never showed up. We found out the next morning by calling the dealership and asking if our car was still there. We then rescheduled the pickup for 11a-3pm the next day. The tow showed up at 10am and refused to wait for us to get there. They didn't call ahead to let us know they were on their way like they were supposed to. Again. We pleaded with them to give us just 10 min, as I would have to get permission to leave my job unexpectedly to meet them since they showed up out of the timeframe. They told me "we get paid by the mile, not the hour. We're leaving." I responded that we can't afford to reschedule again because they didn't even show up the first day and the dealership has been lenient on letting us leave the car in our lot. The person on the phone was very nasty and refused to help us. Turns out, it was the wrong location anyway. I realized this while I was waiting for them to arrive the THIRD time and they didn't show up to the right dealership. If they didn't show up this time, we were prepared to cancel everything and find another company. Not only did they put us out, but they didn't care about the dealership either. We are very lucky and grateful the dealership allowed our car to stay on the lot an extra two days. Very ironic that they gave us a hard time for not being at the dealership for the entire 4 hour window even though they failed to show up in that window themselves, 3 separate times. This towing company lacks time management and communication skills. It seems they'd rather keep rescheduling and driving out to the same place over and over if they get paid by the mile. They need to give themselves enough time in between customers to help them properly. And a little flexibility to let them arrive to their own car would be nice. I am not one to get angry or raise my voice but this company has caused me to do so. I started off very fair and polite multiple times so the multiple employees who chose to speak to us unprofessionally was unwarranted. I do not like to go out of my way to post my negative opinions but I would hate for anyone else to experience such disrespectful staff. But this towing company kept changing the 4 hours pick up window and when I told them I need time to get the title notarized which is the law in my state and they said I don't need to do then they canceled the pick up when peddle confirmed that the title much be notarized during or before pick up. Our driver was there to service a customer we've been doing business with for 20 years. It is a drop & hook situation at this site. Our driver unhooked from the empty to pull the loaded trailer out so we could put the empty in its place. The tow truck driver watched our driver, and as soon as he went to get the loaded trailer, he immediately hooked his truck up to the empty trailer and demanded $1500 for nothing. Tried to reason with the driver; very rude and unprofessional and unwilling to discuss the situation Just a REAL A-HOLE!!! We then called the police and upon their arrival, the towing co. driver argued with them for 20 minutes.
