This gym is expensive and the equipment has not been updated since the 80's. Location is great, gym is not. If you swim or do cardio and live within 5 miles, great gym.

There's an outdoor pool right across from the gym too. You must wear a mask pretty much at all times, but I didn't mind that. Safety first! The gym staff are very friendly as well. One thing of note as that you cannot bring weights into aerobics room or upstairs to track/ab work area. They have a sign noting that but I had missed it when going upstairs. Overall I highly recommend!

The weight room is combined with the cardio room, which is not a great layout idea, but I can't complain to much about it. The machines are all brand new and well organized. Bring your own lock for the lockers. The saunas are always nice and clean. The staff is extremely helpful, and will even give you a tour of the facilities, if you're new. One warning: never come during peak PT hours. Between 12-4 on weekdays and anytime of weekends are the best times to come. All other times will be inundated by trainees. Get some!

They also have a treadmill room. There's a sauna in the women's bathroom, I haven't used it cause the hot weather here is enough for me My husband said the mens shower is open bay. Womens isnt, during the weekdays from 8am-12pm it's not very busy. They also have 24/7 access to both service members and dependents. You just have to talk to the front desk to get yourself a key.

I was getting ready to sit down on the small seat to do some chest presses. Well, I slid right off the seat onto the floor. Geez, I was embarrassed. My jock act has been blown. Anyway, no one came over to help me up or even ask how I was. Hell, they turned away. I had to go through my dying cockroach act to get up. There were three buff guys in my area. Oh well. Not hurt, just super embarrassed. I'll have to get some shorts with rubber backs so I don't slide. Ha, ha.

Staff is also nice and can help assist with form if needed. If you need a small Gym to get your ish together and pump a workout out this is your place. Go and get your workout on. So many benches, machines, free weights, dumbbells, and cardio equipment. Everything is spread out so you don't feel you're in top of each other. Even the bathroom was fresh and clean. Front desk staff was very helpful. When I told them I was in town for a few days on biz they worked out a nice daily rate deal so I could get in my training without taking a big hit on my credit card. Nice crowd here too. Not a typical meathead group but more everyday middle of the road people more interested in staying fit and healthy.
