There are so many better options for nightlife in Miami, I would recommend skipping this place…read more After family night a large group of us decided to check out miami lounge. They advertise free entry, free sections, all of which are not valid. Upon arriving we were charged a 20 cover. The overall price of the cover was reasonable in my opinion. The issue was that they had a flier advertising free entry and they did not honor it. The woman at the door explained that it was only free until 11 however the flier did not have any time limit. Once we entered the club was dead. The music was decent but was overshadowed by a blown speaker. I felt like I was in a Honda civic with an after market cd and sub install (iykyk). Because we were a large group we did get a section. The waitress was nice and attentive but was not overly informative. The club has a hard close of 2:30 even though their hours say they close at 3. At 2:30 the lights came on and they immediately started screaming for everyone to get out. The issue with this is the waitress continued letting us order food and water (bottled) up until "close". The food was brought out 10 minutes before they "closed" but that was not communicated. So at 2:30 when they are screaming for us to get out we still needed to get boxes as the food had JUST come. Also you can not leave with any open liquid. Alcohol is self explanatory but this also includes water. So the 5 dollar bottles of Fiji water she brought (they only serve bottles) at 2:28 had to be thrown out bc we opened them. The wings were crispy but way over salted. They are a good drunk food though because of the saltiness.

This place is so lame. Went on a Saturday and it was dead. Everything is way overpriced too.. On…read morethe bright side, service is good but just pass if you're looking for a good time lol.

This review is strictly for security. One star, and that's for the jackass at the front…read more I wish I had gotten his name because I would absolutely put it here, and I will be putting him on blast. He was rude, ignorant, and a straight-up coward for the way he spoke to a group of women. Puffing his chest out, cursing at us like he wanted to fight--completely out of line. It would have been a whole different vibe if men had been with us. Let me be clear: this is 100% about security, not the establishment. I actually enjoyed the place. We were there for my daughter's birthday, had a great time, and our waitress was top-notch--super sweet. We paid for a section, which came with a bottle of wine, and were told we could take it if we didn't finish it. At the end of the night, my daughter walked out with the unopened bottle. It wasn't bagged. This security guard lost his mind--cursing at her and at me, telling us to "get the fuck out" and "don't come back." I tried to explain no one gave us a bag, but he didn't listen and didn't care. I have never felt so threatened over something so small. He completely ruined what had been a great night. I did call afterward, and someone was very apologetic and said they would handle it. I hope they actually review the footage, because his behavior toward a group of non-aggressive women was rude, aggressive, and unacceptable. We were honestly just confused by the whole situation. Yes, I understand the rules about taking alcohol out, but it wasn't bagged and we had been drinking--maybe we should have asked, but still, that didn't justify his behavior. I don't blame the waitress much; she had a lot going on and probably forgot. The villain of the night was that one stupid-ass security guard. His delivery was everything. All he had to do was calmly tell my daughter to go back in and get a bag. Instead, he chose to curse and threaten us. What a poor excuse for a black man. I liked the establishment, but I won't spend money somewhere that hires people like that. To that security guard: talk to your mom, your sisters, or any woman in your life--because you clearly don't know how to respect women. You're a coward, and you wouldn't talk to me

This is a good neighborhood spot. My review is very specifically about the music level. Every time the music comes I have to shout to talk to the person sitting next to me. Side note, if your bar tender asks if you want a double, asks the price before saying yes. My girlfriend made this mistake and we ended up paying $75 for three Tito's and tonic.

The pounded yam was smooth and not too thick. I had fun scooping up the Egusi in the Fufu with my hands. Both together was an enjoyable flavor and texture combo. The Beef Suya was good as well, a nice meat appetizer. The beef was cooked well done which some people may not like, but I enjoyed it since I grew up eating my steak that way. It paired very well with the spice blend and raw onions. I also had the Ghanaian Jollof Rice and that was not my most favorite dish due to the flavor. Not my cup of tea, but the rice was cooked well. I also liked the side plantains. The interior is nicely ornate and comfy. The service here was also super great and my assigned server was very personable. I genuinely enjoyed my conversation with her and she did well giving me recommendations and directions as a first timer for this type of food. Overall, I had a great experience here and would come back again!

My two relatives came into town and they had wanted to try Nigerian food for the first time. Ike's…read morewas in the area the three of us were hanging out at, so I was looking forward to venture outside my normal restaurant. Setting / Service: We had came in about 10-15 minutes after they had just opened, so it felt like we were the first customers by the way the wait staff was missing. The host had told us sit at any table and we would have a staff member come swing by. We waited about 5-10 minutes before our waitress had came by and asked us if we were ready to order. Mind you - we were not given a food menu or told about the QR code that looked like it was barely hanging on the table beforehand. Food order took a little longer than expected. Table that was sat after us got their full lunch order before our soup came out. Felt little weird about that. The occasional check-ins from the waitress was welcomed. Food: Hunter's Platter was a overcooked or charred. The beef was well done at minimum. Some of the other meat pieces that contained bone were so overcooked that it was tougher than jerky and the bones themselves began to break off into sharp ends / mistaken as meat due to how brittle they became. For it to be priced at 'Market Value' and not have a actual charge was a bit odd to me. It came out to be near $60 for those wondering. Sweet potato soup with plantain fufu was good. We had ordered the mixed meat version, but it only contain one piece of each meat. It was borderline room temp by the time it got to our table. We had also ordered a few other items that were pretty enjoyable. Pleasant additions to a couple first timers who wanted to taste the menu. Overall: I'd say that the experience here was pretty okay to the point we had gotten the meal tab. It was a bit peculiar that our waitress had dropped off the credit card machine to the table for us after handing her my card. It was then I noticed on the machine "Additional Tip". Puzzled, I looked back at the check and noticed she had applied auto-gratuity. Yes, I would have given a tip. I would have given more than the auto applied tip, but it was context that made the entire situation foul. She applied auto tip, dropped the machine off, and just 'disappeared' until we left the table at which she muttered words as she walked past us while looking down to the floor.
