Poor communication skills, constant attitude, threatened me on the phone, said she "cannot wait to see me" when I pick my car up, after two days of them keeping my vehicle, and $2000+ in work. Terrible customer service skills, rude and terrible tone to ALL customers. Jerry is great, Dave is great but his wife is terrible. Do not bring your vehicle to this garage unless you want to be disrespected by a Karen! It's too bad because Jerry worked hard to establish a great customer experience, which was ruined in 1 week because of the lack of respect from the elderly receptionist who seems to think she knows it all!

Had never been there before but since it was 3 km away and the Subaru dealer was 20+ km away decided to try it. They quickly diagnosed it as the timing belt. Fixed it quickly, had the car back Wednesday afternoon, within 24 hr. I appreciated not only the quick fix but also the time they took to explain the repair and the costs. We are sure we would have waited days longer and paid more if we had dealt with the dealership. Great job, quickly done at a fair price!

Where other mechanics might otherwise upsell you or commit you to extra work, I've actually had several instances where they've come back and given me the facts to help make a decision on how to proceed after a diagnostic and often they've even been honest about work that can be deferred or omitted completely. Don't really see that much, in my experience. No sticker shock either, the service fees also felt proportional and reasonable or well within their estimates, if not lower than estimated. Finally, I've dealt with the same receptionist there since we switched over and I've always felt she was professional and knowledgeable. Maybe not overly bubbly or sweet or anything, but why would that be a deal-breaker to the point that you would stop going to a unicorn mechanic? This is referring to a previous review complaining about the receptionist, but praising Dan the the shop. My guess is you'll end up back there within the year. I don't tend to pay much attention to reviews from people who only go on these pages to complain, and out of your 30 reviews they 28 of them have been 1s or 2s out of 5. That's not feedback that's entitlement.

I have been taking my cars to Dan over the years, maybe since he began his business. This woman will talk down to you over the phone or not even look at you when you are in the shop. She thinks she is getting one over on you by using language that only most mechanics will understand, but what she is really doing is losing good customers for Dan. I will never go back to Future Trends because of Jenn; it's too bad because Dan is a good person.

Ok.......I was at the Harvester Location for an oil change. It was on a coupon at a great price…read more $48.97 ($54.34 tax in). There system that sends you a report is good. They suggested an air filter change as it was dirty. I said go ahead. Should have priced it first but that is my issue. Upon picking up the vehicle the total was now $171.29!! That means the air filter and labour to install was $102.61! I was a but shocked at the time but paid the bill. After researching online with prices I called them back to report my displeasure with the amount. They were not impressed and simply claimed that it was normal amount for what they did.

I said I obviously want to protect my car and thought you could at least give me a credit of sorts, for my next visit. Instead he acted like a complete Moron and said its my fault I didn't take cover off. So I said, he has lost my Business if he cant even at least afford a small credit for something that is going to cost me $60-$75 to replace! NOT COMING BACK.

Claimed it was like that despite the fact I had just installed all 5 bolts easily changing to spare one day prior. They recommend seeing a mechanic to fix what they've done offering no compensation.
