My first visit at this tapas bar. The menu is not too long, the offer ranges from mild till crazy spicy. The beer and wine card is not too big either, which is unfortunate, since the Mediterranean area has more wines to offer. The staff is quick and friendly, the food is fresh and light. The atmosphere is nice, really relaxed. It was unfortunate that their credit card cash machine did not work that night.

Sangria Sunday and this lovely little place. You can never go wrong with fruit and alcohol!

I have been here twice, first with my two young boys and today solo. Both times the food was fresh and service was attentive.

What a cool place! First of all, it's absolutely huge. There's multiple rooms and bars all with…read moreslightly different vibes. There's a front bar where you can grab food, there's a back bar with a smoking area that sometimes has a DJ, and an upstairs that feels more like a proper cocktail bar - and probably more areas I've yet to explore. The food smelled delicious and I would've totally tried it had I not eaten before. I explored around a bit and ultimately hung out upstairs at the bar. The bartender that night was so friendly! We talked about everything from art to travel to politics. She was the best and made a mean cocktail. Not to mention, the entire place is decorated fantastically. It used to be an old pharmacy and ties in a lot of that history into the decor, including a bar made of old pharmacy ledgers. You could spend so much time just looking around at all the details and exploring each room. I hear it gets pretty lively here on weekends, especially with the college kids, but this particular Monday night was fairly quiet. I would definitely return if I'm ever in Cork again!

Beer was always cold when I came in the past, but sadly this time when I walked in they had a large…read moredisplay atop the bar asking for donations for Palestinians and tons of Palestinian flags. It made me feel very uncomfortable and people go to bars to relax and unwind, not to see and hear divisive political issues. Really disappointed to see a display like that in an otherwise excellent pub.

Our waitress was high energy and informative. She told us the menu was tapas style so we order quite a bit! When the food came we noticed the portions were much larger than we were used to for tapas so just an FYI! We started with the oysters, we are from New England USA so these oysters were much meatier than what we are used to, delicious but very filling! The fish tacos were very tasty and the portion size of the fish was very large compared to what we are used to. I would have just gotten the fish tacos if I knew how large they would be. We also got the chargrilled sirloin steak which was very well cooked and the chimichurri sauce was a nice addition. To top us off we did get the house chips with rosemary which were delicious as well. The roasted garlic mayo that accompanied them was very good. The restaurant itself is upstairs from the bar and has a chill vibe.

Our waiter noticed we were trying to take a photo and offered to take our photo which was very nice. They cleaned our table between courses. The food was amazing, even more so when you factor in that it's very affordable. We had the crispy tofu appetizer (which was almost a meal in itself), the fish and chips, vegetable tart and the panna cotta for dessert. All 4 we're fantastic. If I was a local I would be coming here 2-3 times a month. Highly recommend going at least once! You won't be disappointed.
