They patched and painted from the inside and since they had their ladder out we went ahead and had them paint the whole living room, dining room, bathroom, and office. The whole process took about a week. We have high vaulted ceilings and a lot of square footage so I was really nervous about picking 5 colors with only a few days to decide. I went down to Sherwin myself because of the crunch time and met with Paka's associate at herwin and thank goodness, she was so helpful. I ended up picking 4 colors and making my own(you can do that) for the main fill color. At times I could see some things looked unfinished like the patch work and the edges but just be patient because they cleaned it all up really nice. I added a bunch of stuff last minute too, you know, like a small demo(I know, I'm terrible), and they still accommodated my needs and got it done quickly. As a realtor I'm very picky about recommending contractors but they did a great job for us personally aaaaand they're licensed, bonded, and insured but please verify for yourself. Will definitely have more work for them. Very impressed.

The owners, Jason and Julia, came out and met with met to give me a quote. They got back to me a lot more quickly than some of the others, and it was a remarkably good price. I had quite a few quotes than theirs was about half the average of the rest -- $5K for the exterior of a 4BR house. I felt I couldn't go wrong at that price, even if the quality wasn't quite up to par, so I went with them. And what guarantee did I have that the higher priced guys would be better? Komori was as highly recommended as any of them. Their crew came out within a couple weeks and worked quickly. It was a large crew, with different people coming by to do different things. They didn't do as much scraping as I would have expected, but they did wash and pretreat everything. The finished product looked great, except for one spot. It was a cinder block wall portion of the car port that was flaking pretty bad before it was painted and wasn't scraped down. I called them and their son came out within a day and went over the whole area again. These guys were a pleasure to work with and delivered a remarkable product for the money. No complaints. Highly recommended.

After receiving three estimates we decided to hire Komori because their approach was professional and they gave us a fair price for a large job. I was also told that the HEPA equipment they used to capture dust when grinding the cement exceeded other companies and would leave very little dust in the air. This turned out to be very true and saved me a lot of time not having to clean surrounding windows, screens, furniture, etc. Komori's crew prepped our floor, repaired all the cracks and holes, then proceeded to apply numerous layers of primer, grout and sealer coats, grinding and cleaning after each coat. Their crew was very easy to work with, always smiling and always willing to accommodate our requests. They were meticulous in their attention to every detail during the many steps involved. This is not something easily found in today's economy where many contractors cut corners and complete their work as quickly as possible to make the most profit. Eric, you were great! I don't know anything about this process, but I trust these guys did a great job. The workers came in a timely manner, stayed working under my house for about 3 days. I could hear them laughing and enjoying their work. Great guys, good attitudes and worked hard. Took pictures, I forgot to save. But they drilled and put push piers in and used something to shoot into the cracks like a steel cement. They had affordable pricing and as far as I know did a great job to stabilize. After we approved his quote to paint the exterior of our home, we selected MTA-approved colors so that he could submit the Design Committee application on our behalf. It only took a couple of days to obtain approval and his team used that time to thoroughly prep the house, including power wash, covering fixtures/windows, covered our neighbor's car (parked outside) to prevent over-spray and caulking (an option we chose) to seal vulnerable moisture areas. They identified some wood rot at a few gutter corner locations caused by water seepage and leaks. We approved his quote for carpentry repair, which was done well and in a timely fashion to complete the project within the prescribed timeline that we discussed. His team even replaced a few corner sidings and sealed the gutter corner interior seams to avoid any future water seepage/leak damage. During the entire process, Dean was professional and maintained great communication. His onsite team always demonstrated professionalism and respect throughout the project as well. One side of the basement didn't have any dry wall because of it. He changed all his windows, waterproofed his stucco wall, caulked the "belly board," had his "flashing" & roof checked over the years and nothing worked. Some of the multiple leaks stopped but there was always water damage after a big rain storm. After while he gave up on ever fixing the problem. Then Engineering consultant Horst Brandes came over and pointed out a few areas that could be causing the leak and recommended we call Central Pacific. My boyfriend was hesitant to call because of all the disappointment he's experienced over the years. But I encouraged him to try. Willie came over for a site inspection & was confident they could solve our problems. He sent over a proposal and then scheduled his crew to start work the following week. Willie met his crew on day 1 to review the work that had to be done. Mike & Danny were very friendly, polite and professional. They updated us on what they were planning to do each morning & walked thru what they accomplished at the end of the day. At the end of each day, they left the basement clean and tidy. On day 2, like detectives, Mike & Danny found the source of the leak that no one else was able to find all these years! (Faulty construction left a gap in the floor where the foundation & stucco wall met & window installers created a crack in the stucco wall.) 3 days later everything was repaired so beautifully. After the repairs, Mike conducted several long water tests to ensure there were no leaks. And Willie will schedule a final inspection of their work next week. My boyfriend still can't believe that the leak that was there for so long is finally gone. Central Pacific & Mike & Danny are miracle workers. He not only gives a very professional examination of the work to be done and a nice competitive bid, he also is the guy on the job with his partner Abel! They not only stayed on the job and worked methodically each day of a Monday through Friday work week, until completion; they did it without complaint and with lots of care. I will plan to hire them again, any chance I get! They also fixed some poor roofing work that a roofing contractor did a few weeks before. I also needed a little concrete repair which they could also do.
