Matt and his trainee were both friendly, professional, and very accommodating, especially considering how unique and challenging our dryer vent setup is. The quality of the work was excellent, and we really appreciated the care they took to get the job done right. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is because of how the appointment wrapped up. It was the trainee's first day, and he ended up finishing the visit on his own. He wasn't able to accept a credit card payment, so I had to find a check instead, and nearly a week later it still hasn't been cashed. It wasn't a major issue, but it did leave me feeling a little uncertain. I'd be happy to use them again because the work itself was excellent, and I hope this feedback is helpful.

I let him know, but he still suggested coming out to check it just in case--which I appreciated. When he arrived, he was on time, very friendly, and professional. He checked everything and noticed my freezer had a lot of ice buildup, which was likely the cause of the noise. He mentioned we could wait for it to defrost so he could clean it out, and I was like... are we really going to wait for that? Then he casually said he had a steamer and could take care of it right away--I was honestly impressed. He cleaned out the ice buildup quickly and explained everything clearly. Super helpful and easy to work with. Overall, great experience--honest, knowledgeable, and went the extra mile. If he ever offers full fridge/freezer cleaning, I'd book that too lol. Eugene, the installation guy, continued hooking it up any way. He tested it by running the water for 1 min; said it worked; and left. We attempted to use it. Sergey came right on time the next day. He took the time to put covers on his shoes and was very patient while listening to my explanation of the problem - including dealing with folding mirrored doors that needed to be removed to access the dryer. Sergey was very organized and methodical. He skillfully removed the heavy doors and pulled the dryer out, being careful not to damage the track the doors roll on. He checked the back of the dryer and then the vent on the roof. He showed me photos of the clog in the vent and gave me a price for cleaning it. He said he may need to clean inside the dryer as well. After seeing how much lint came out of the vent hose, I told him to go ahead and clean inside the dryer as well. I'm glad I did, it was a fire hazard waiting to happen! Sergey cleaned everything up and carefully put the mirrored doors back on - making sure to adjust the screws so they move freely. I called yesterday afternoon to schedule service. Service was scheduled for 3PM today. Cole arrived an hour ealier, because he was free, and in the neighborhood. 5 minutes after we meet, Cole diagnoses the issue to either the gas solenoids, or the gas to the dryer is shut off. He asks before replacing any parts... Is the gas valve going to the dryer turned on? The gas valve going to the dryer was not turned on. A contractor mistakingly turned that valve off a few days ago. It was worth paying the diagnostic fee, not just because Cole resolved our issue in less time than I can hold my breath, but because I'm not stressing about finding a good appliance repair service anymore.
