She explained the process to me very thoroughly and was super patient in answering all my questions. I did not end up going through with setting up an inspection. I wanted to get a second opinion before moving forward, but she definitely took care of my needy questions and set my heart at ease. I was freaking out, and she was super helpful and polite. I recently had to report my landlord to public health due to a carpet that's been in place adjacent to the shower for over 20 years, and has been repeatedly reported, has recently become more of an issue for us as tenants due to a present mildew smell. After Rainbow inspected and in fact found mold in the bathroom, the report stated the mold in question was caused from "negligence". When I called to question how the report concluded tenant negligence, they transferred me to "Parm" he then informed me that I supposedly told him there was an ongoing leak that's been reported several times. When I in fact told him the concern for moisture and mold had been reported several times and we also wanted to report while vendors were here - that we were concerned about a new faucet leak that had just started, specifically dripping down from the faucet. So simply, miscommunication. Simple. When questioning the miscommunication he was not at all friendly, or professional. He was very aggressive. Also, when you call in they do state that all calls are recorded - when I asked if he could potentially pull up the recording to confirm I said anything of the sort, he said we do not record our calls. Go figure. The most interesting thing is, both him and another Manager that I had met face to face, (Erik) had totally different outlooks on the situation. Especially knowing the carpet had been in place adjacent to the shower, for decades. It makes me question the integrity of this business as a whole and wonder if this business is running honestly. Also one other thing to add, I was solicited by one of the workers the day of remediation, to check out his car detailing business. This is also super unprofessional and made me really uncomfortable.

Following a second opinion from the City of Modesto, I discovered the pipe was actually ABS from start to finish--no replacement needed. I was understandably upset and reached out to management. The Branch Manager, Devin, called me back. He was professional, genuinely surprised by the discrepancy, and took full accountability to make things right financially. The next day, the city came out and scoped our line for free! And the next day, we had someone else out who inspected our line and cleared some roots for less than rotorooter's initial service cost!
