The museum has several levels and well layout and organized. Staff are everywhere and friendly. On top level, there is a restaurant overlook the city. The view is just amazingly breathtaking, service is great. Foods and drinks are also good too. On street level, before you leave the museum, a small but plenty of variety of shops for shopping. There are several exhibitions throughout the year and they're all fantastic. Love this museum.

It was quite difficult to get service if you weren't standing right at the bar. I noticed that even a PBR was 900 sec. Most of the beers were quite expensive. I'm from America and PBR is the cheapest lowest quality beer. You could possibly buy. A 16 ounce tall boy is about three dollars in most clubs and five at a high-end club. Other than that a good time was had by all. I can always count on some interesting music when I go t Stampen. I was pleasantly surprised to see traditional country music . It's nice to see that they don't have any of that modern country bullshit and they stick to traditional country music bands that play music with substance . I've seen a lot of great blues and jazz in this venue and it's nice that there's a good variety .

We came on a Friday late afternoon around 5pm and most tables were taken but there was plenty of space to stand. The jazz band was already playing and the vibes were chill and festive. We ordered a couple drinks at the bar, I loved the revolver, my partner got the "something" collins drink and it was fantastic, really smooth and easy to drink. The bartenders were great, really quick to take our order and make the drinks. All in all a great little spot to hangout! But, if they decided to give it a good dusting I wouldn't stop them, hah!

Entered the ice room that was created to the ice hotel that created once a year by all ice up northern Sweden. It's freezing inside and it's unique experience, part of it, you got to have a cocktail in ice glass. It's not strong enough to warm you up but you alway buy more drinks. I only last 30mins and I left. Definitely something to do in case you wonder how cold and how it is at the actual ice hotel. Yup, no need for me for sure. But really enjoyed the experience.

The room wasn't all that cold in our opinion. Our admission included one free drink either alcoholic or non-alcoholic. It was served in an ice glass. It took maybe three sips and I finished my drink so it wasn't much. The decor was a mixture of ice blocks, some carvings and wall art. At least they placed some wood on top of the ice to create seating if one wanted linger. It was fairly pricey for such a small drink and if it wasn't for the pass then we would've skipped..

When we visited last week, I was really blown away by an exhibit made up of works from their permanent collection: "Pink Sails: Swedish Modernism in the Moderna Museet Collection." I wasn't familiar with too many Swedish artists, so it was a pleasure to explore this exhibit and experience art that was new to me! The museum is open late (until 8pm on Tuesdays and Fridays), which was great for us - it let us tag on a visit to the museum at the end of a full day of touristing around Gamla Stan. The museum is gorgeous, very modern, with a great gift shop, cafe, and restaurant. A really beautiful museum and well worth visiting if you're interested in modern and contemporary art.

Took a free 25 minute tour - very useful for explaining the history behind the ship and its unfortunate sinking - the Titanic of Sweden. The ship itself is breathtaking! Lovingly restored and hopefully they can keep it around for posterity. There's a nice film to watch that provides additional background. Great multi floor exhibits and viewing platforms for the Vasa. Highly recommend!!!

An almost 400 yr old boat 95% intact. The museum itself is keep climate controlled to maintain the temp and humidity. The workers couldn't have been more accommodating. There's an 18 movie you can watch ahead of time that gives you some history of the Vasa. The museum is very clean and loaded with artifacts. A truly great experience.

This is a really adorable little coffee shop in Gamla Stan. Its a very small one room coffee shop…read morethat feels cozy and comfortable immediately upon entering. There are a few little tables and chairs and a nice window seat with comfy pillows and a view of the cobblestone street outside. There is beautiful art hanging on the wall from the owner. They have a lot of gluten free options on their menu including gf breakfast items. They make coffees and teas, baked dessert items, and some lunch/breakfast choices. We stopped in for a tea and a gf brownie which was really good. The individual checking us out was very helpful and friendly. Even though we just stopped in, it is an adorable little place and has a good variety of gluten free and vegan options for anyone searching out these dining preferences. Everyone was super nice, both the concession gal and the ticket gal! And the patrons too! (This was especially appreciated as I was on my first ever solo travel adventure and don't speak Swedish!) Tickets are a hair cheaper than what I'm used to Paying in the states even with the krona/US dollar conversion. The first showing did sell out rather quickly and I bought the very last ticket for the second showing, even though the theaters are quite large!. (I can imagine with 3pm autumn sunsets and almost 24 hr winter darkness, movies are a popular retreat, so maybe stop by and purchase in advance during those times!) The seats were super comfy and given with numbers, as if you were seeing a play. The popcorn was fresh (served freshly popped, no butter-they don't even have any) and I was so impressed with the healthy options like salads and pressed juices that were offered, too!! The mostly popular new American releases were sub-titled in Swedish making it an easy activity for tourist! A visit here was an all around fantastic experience! By the way, I saw 'Bohemian Rhapsody' and it was outrageous, so was the actor!! (I can't wait for award season this year and the battle between him and Bradley Cooper!!) Even if you're not a fan of the music, it's definitely worth seeing and, this theater is definitely worth putting on your 'things to do while in Stockholm' list!

Also, their bathrooms are only available to use if you have a pin code, so if you see a movie, you can find your info in the upper left of your ticket with the four digit pin that's printed on it.
