Did I take advantage of him by calling him out on his rip-off? I am a 76 year old man and I am the one who was taken advantage of because of my age. He thought that I knew nothing about computers and would get away with this sleazy bait and switch. He didn't - and he won't! Typically, a drive replacement would be the same capacity size and quality of the original. The only program on it would be an OS and that's it unless more was requested. This drive was only 10% of the original capacity and much too small to accommodate all the data which I had on online backed up. In addition to the Windows 10 OS, he had 2 spyware programs installed; 2003 Office Pro, Adobe Reader, and some Apple programs which were not needed or requested. But the real issue was the installation of 2 spyware programs without first getting my permission. He never asked me because I would never have allowed him to do that! He's been in business for 21 years and nobody with that experience would do what he did and get the ratings he supposedly has. I question the validity of those positive ratings and based upon my experience with A+Shacklette's Computer Repair, I don't believe them!
