Took 16 days to repair my laptop with zero communication from staff. When I did inquire about the progress, they always told me they were working on it, but gave me a load of techno-babble which did not make any sense to me. One individual who works there was particularly rude. I do not trust them and would not go back there again.
I feel they replaced the cable to my screen which did not need replacing. When I questioned them on it (this after 16 days without having fixed the actual problem of keyboard and trackpad), they got quite aggressive and talked and talked and talked until I gave in. What I gathered was, that as I run f.lux on my computer (which is a very common program to run), my computer screen turns orange as it is supposed to, and they were trying to fix this.
Firstly, they really should know what f.lux is, and secondly that's not the problem I took it into the shop with.
The next day then, they had replaced keyboard and trackpad and was working OK but there was again another period of me questioning them and them not listening to me but being aggressive in response.
I did receive an apology from the owners as I drove home, but I still felt I wanted to say my experience in my review as I'd gotten so stressed with the way the man in the shop had spoken to me and I'm still at a loss as to what he was saying.
I posted my review on facebook and have received phonecalls asking me to take it down. So, I'm still feeling bullied by these people read more
