My son just finished a one week Lego - Minion in Motions camp. He had an absolute blast and he was excited to go to the camp everyday. He would come home and tell us about what he built - cars, rocket, dinosaur, a remote control that connects to a computer and can play games, etc. - they all sounded very fun! The camp had recess time for outdoor playing, and had a small graduation ceremony with certificates given out on the last day of the camp. The only thing to comment is that apparently they only spent little time building things on the last day of the camp, and my son felt like he didn't do as much as compared to the other days (he said the last day was boring). I am not sure why the last day was different and they had to limit the activities. Overall though, it was a great experience for my son and I would definitely sign up for other sessions again next year! Thanks to the camp instructors: Laura, Emmie and Lidia, and special kudos to Nicolas for being a great instructor for my son!

This is our first time participating in a TechKnowHow camp...my 7 year old son just completed the Minecraft LEGO camp. It was fantastic! Well organized preparation materials sent well in advance, very engaging 5 days (3 hours each day with appropriate number and time for breaks) and the instructor was supportive of my son's desires to share with the class throughout the sessions...that's why another class! First thing my son asked after class on Friday, "can I do that again?"

Our ten year old went swimming almost every single day, and loved his field trip to the pinball museum. He made friends and felt very welcomed. Our seven year old loved his camp counselors and got a huge kick out of the pickle making activity and water day. Overall the staff were kind, attentive and very organized. He is high functioning and can navigate most social situations, but this is what he prefers-- being home, playing independently and sticking to his happy routine. When I signed him up for camp Keff, I wasn't sure what to expect, as other than soccer he has never participated in anything like Camp Keff before. The first day we met his counselors, they asked all of the right questions and went out of their way to introduce themselves to my son and our family. The counselors were warm and introduced our son to other new campers in his group. My sense is that this was very intentional on their part, so as to foster a sense of connection amongst the newer campers. When we left him that day, he looked quite serious so naturally I went home wondering, "did I make the right choice encouraging him to get out of his comfort zone for a full 4 weeks (half of his summer break)?" Yes, that's right, we signed him up for 4 weeks knowing that no refund would be issued and it was the best decision ever! From that day forward, I dropped him off every day smiling and he would come home with an even bigger smile with so many camp stories to share! We weren't sure if he was ready to go on an overnight with the camp just yet, but as it turns out, we were the ones that weren't ready yet and he was LOL! He went on his first overnight with Keff and had an absolutely sensational time building forts, making crafts and eating s'mores by the fire. My son made so many new friends and even more wonderful memories I know he will cherish for a lifetime. He experienced so many new and engaging activities and with the support of Keff's well trained and experienced counselors, he was able to navigate things that have been more challenging in the past with ease. My son is already talking about going back next summer. His excitement and enthusiasm about all things Keff is a testament to the care and dedication with which these counselors approach their work of providing a safe and nurturing environment for campers to explore, play and create in! My only regret-- not signing him up for more weeks of camp. :) My many, many thanks and congratulations to the entire Keff camp staff on an epic summer of fun! Thank you for all that you do and for your care and commitment to the safety of our children!

From the very first day, the teachers and staff have shown incredible love, patience, and dedication to the kids. My daughter looked forward to going to school every day, and we can see how happy she is and how much she has developed both academically and socially. The curriculum with the mandarin immersion and a variety of cultural celebrations are another highlight. We are incredibly grateful to all the teachers for making her such a positive and meaningful pre-school experience. We highly recommend Challenge school San Mateo Campus to any parent looking for a place where their child will be loved, supported, and inspired to learn. We have to say goodbye due to the relocation, but will always remember the warmth and love at Challenge. Thank you for making the preschool feel like a second home.

From the tour, the facility felt clean, safe and I felt comfortable with the staff as they seemed attentive, experienced, and committed. At first I was nervous to transition my oldest (2 yrs old at the time, now 3.5 yrs) as we don't speak any mandarin at home. However we were so surprised at how much he has learned and developed as he transitioned from Caterpillar to Ladybug and now to Butterfly Class. He is always excited to head to preschool and happily talks about his day after pick-up. The projects and activities in each class are age appropriate and meaningful and I appreciate how we get frequent updates with clear communication from the teachers in each class. I also love that they prepare Chinese and American holiday events at this age. Now our youngest (1.5 yrs old) started in the Caterpillar class and she has adjusted so well! I am so glad we chose to have our kids attend Challenge School for the peace of mind knowing that they're in great care while we are at work. All of the Caterpillar, Ladybug, and Butterfly teachers are wonderful, dedicated, and sincere with their class and most importantly, we can tell our kids have fun and are happy there. I highly recommend this location for a mandarin immersion preschool!

Furthermore, Inna creates an inspiring environment that makes me want to do better each time and also learn from each other. The class is both serious and fun. Although still new to the field, I now approach painting in a different and more principled way. Would highly recommend the class to anyone who is interested in pursuing art in any capacity.
