Turns out the batteries were dead. Wasn't quite sure what to do, went to GameQor and the guys there sent me over to Abel at Nexgen. (By the way, GameQor kicks butt too.) I probably could have done it myself, but I didn't want to chance losing my 24 year old Pokemon and hundreds of hours logged to shaky hands and liquid metal. After a brief hello and sharing of what the issue I had been experiencing, Nick begins talking in a voice volume louder than I was expecting. He gave me the, "I've been doing this for more than blah, blah, years and...." Wow. Okay. I trust that you know what you are doing but did you have to start the attitude with me at 9:30 in the morning? He reiterated the prices the 1-800 person told me on the phone and then stopped talking and looked at me. He didn't ask me a question, so I didn't answer. Impatiently he then says, "okay?" I nod. After I sign on the dotted line and Nick prints, I was going to ask him if he was okay. But a male customer walked in and I figured I should keep my question to myself for now.
