She plays for a competitive level Girls 03 team and she has really benefited from the extra training and skill clinics that are offered here at Catalyst. Let's start with the skill clinics. They offer a variety of skill clinics nearly every day of the week and they rotate monthly so your child does not get in a rut. The coaching staff is extremely knowledgeable and they each a different skill set. They really care about these kids and offer an excellent balance of enthusiasm and support while "pushing" them in an appropriate manner. They treat each child with respect regardless of ability and longevity of play. The clinics are split by age groups so my daughter is always challenged by peers her own age. They keep the classes small and give a lot of one on one attention. Private lessons are available and the old adage of "you get what you pay for" rings true. The privates aren't cheap but are well worth it. The private trainers are well rounded in their knowledge and will work on what your child needs to and not try to just sell package deals. We are on a pretty tight budget but the privates are well worth the extra money. My daughter is currently working with Kathleen on her running form and just a couple of tiny tweaks have taken her game to a whole new level. She has worked with nearly all the trainers and has not complained once. Her favorite saying is from Bobby and she reminds me often -"Practice does not make perfect. perfect practice makes perfect." Lastly, the owners Alicia and Matt are fantastic. They are always friendly and can be very accommodating to special situations. It's a great place and I highly recommend it to beginners all the way up to semi-pros.

My personal experience with Mario started out very good like so many skilled aspiring youth soccer players and parents. Mario did a great deal to help develop my sons early years of technique and touch on the ball. If it where not for SDFA my son would have not had those opportunities in the early years of 5-6 to play Futsal and develop important fundamental soccer skills. San Diego Futsal Academy is one of the only options for beginner players to experience hard surface Futsal in central and south San Diego. I would recommend try it for yourself and make your own decision before you listen. Mario has a reputation as a guy parents either love or hate. Try the program for yourself so you can decide for yourself.

Where to start? My daughter has been taking lessons from Poway Tennis for almost two years now and…read morethe experience could not have been any better! Top four reasons why we are staunchly loyal customers: First, the obvious: skills development. By focusing on consistency and not moving too quickly between techniques, my student vastly improved her ground strokes, serve, and volley. She started as a beginner and is now ready for legitimate competition with her peers. Second: "soft skills". Tiana has made a big difference in my adolescent's life, bringing her joy and building her confidence. Her tennis lesson with Tiana is a highlight of her week, and something she always looks forward to. This is because of Tiana's fun and engaging personality, coupled with boundless infectious enthusiasm (this positivity is something that means even more to me than her tennis skills!) Unlike some coaches, Tiana has never had a stern word for my daughter, only friendly but professional encouragement. She made it a point to get to know my daughter (her interests, hobbies, goals, etc.) and has tailored her approach to my daughter accordingly. Third: customer service. Even though Tiana leads a very busy life, she is amazingly responsive to text messages throughout the week, and always willing to find a way to make scheduling work. We feel truly cared-for by Tiana, and hers is a genuine caring attitude that transcends basic good customer relations. Fourth: value. Tiana's rates are quite reasonable. Feel free to shop around, but I bet you won't find a better value anywhere. Does it seem like I've omitted Angelina from this review? Well, allow me to explain: due to scheduling, the vast majority of my daughter's lessons have been with Tiana. But Angelina has coached her a few times. Based on that, I just know everything I've said about Tiana applies to Angelina as well. 5 Stars only because no higher rating is possible!
