He clearly knows his craft inside and out, and he took the time to walk me through all my options - including the pros and cons of prefab vs. slabs. I ended up going with slabs based on his insight, and I'm really glad I did. He was also flexible and easy to work with. I needed help with material pickup, and he was willing to handle that (for a reasonable fee), which took a huge weight off my shoulders. My flooring isn't perfectly even, and he went above and beyond to make sure everything was reinforced, level, and solid so the finished product would hold up over time. What really stood out to me was that Sal didn't disappear after he got paid. He checked in and made sure I was truly happy with the final result. That says a lot about his pride in his work and his character. The countertops look fantastic, the craftsmanship is top-notch, and the whole experience felt smooth and professional. Went to an estate sale today in Mira Mesa. Supposed to start at 8, got there at 7:45 and they let…read morepeople in early. Nothing was priced, was told to make a pile and they'd make a deal. Spencer, the estate sale "professional", was hovering in and out of rooms. Felt like he was treating everyone as a thief. Asked him a question and was told "There will be more stuff brought out today and tomorrow!" Not what I asked nor what I was interested in. Make my pile out front and go to check out with the elderly man at the table "Oh no Spencer makes all the prices!" First and last time I will ever be at one of these sales. If you are a potential customer looking to have someone do your estate sale, find someone else. The lack of preparation, presentation, or professionalism should scare you away. The customer at this sale should have just ran a garage sale themselves, they would at least cut out the non work this guy does. If you're a potential buyer coming to the sale: it's like going to the flea market where nothing is priced and when you pick it up, it's worth the world. You're doing the work for them, avoid!
