Some friends of ours recommended Albers after we had some difficulty with another carpenter our fireplace rep had recommended. Albers came to our home for a complimentary consultation. I spent perhaps 15 minutes with him & provided a sketch, description, & inspiration photos. He took some measurements, went over stain and door options and was off! Easy breezy compared to other (numerous) custom consultation I had to endure. The cabinets were done earlier than expected. The installation was today and I was nervous as I am admittedly a bit Type A & wasn't sure if they would make them the way I envisioned. Well, let me tell you they are everything I had wanted and more! The cabinets are beautiful! Excellent craftsmanship, extras we hadn't expected (like colored light options!), and the installer went above and beyond. Albers is a family owned business and everyone we dealt with was unbelievably nice and down-to-earth. If you are looking for custom cabinetry of any kind, including kitchen, bar, etc. give them a try, I guarantee you will be so very glad you did! It had the original cabinets from the 1970s. The shelves weren't even, and there was barely any counter space to work with. We knew we wanted to replace all the cabinets, get quartz counterop, and upgrade the layout to be more functional. We called another competitor first, and they quoted us that the bare minimum of what we were asking for would be over $45,000, which was more than twice our budget. When we met Bill, he wasn't pushy or salesy. We told him our budget and what we were looking for, and he was able to meet every expectation. It took about 8 weeks for our cabinets to come in/be made. Immediately after that, Joe and the crew came and completed our kitchen renovation within 2 weeks. My partner and I work from home, and the renovation did not disturb our workflow at all. We'll definitely be working with them again in the future when we update our bathrooms!

Mark was so informative and gave us a lot of information about all the different types of countertop options. The quote we got was very reasonable, and they threw in a new sink for free. We eventually picked a quartzite countertop and set everything up to have Primo's guys come out about 2 weeks later to install them. The installers arrived exactly when they said they would and got right to work. The entire process took them about 4 hours, including removing the old countertops. Primo and Mark were both so nice and answered all of our questions. I would definitely recommend Primo's to anyone who was looking to replace countertops!

Not only was their workmanship impeccable but they stood behind their work well beyond the warranty period. The original finished bathroom was completed in late 2016. The one issue discovered after the warranty period passed was a cracked tile in the shower resulting in some minimal water damage. Six plus years after the completion of the master bathroom Borchert arranged for a contractor to effect repairs additionally providing a reimbursement check for over half the cost of expenses. How many contractors would backup their work six plus years after the completion of their project. Borchert is the only one I know of. Easy and pleasant working with Jordan and Ron at Borchert. Without hesitation I highly recommend Borchert for kitchen or bathroom remodeling.
