I loved the look but not the price. I was driving by and found this shop. I went inside and met Brandon he showed me their granite selection, they had fewer choices but they had a sample that looked almost identical to the one we wanted. Brandon said I would be happily surprised by their quote. I sent them our dimensions and boy was he right. They offered a much more affordable price. Needless to say we placed our order, the gentleman came out and measured the space. Within days they were giving us an installation date. Ryan and Austin called and were here within half an hour. They brought in the granite, drilled a couple holes for faucet and garbage disposal button and installed each countertop. We needed a couple pieces throughout our kitchen, they did a great job making sure the process went smoothly and without making a mess. They made everything was cleaned and installed properly. We are thrilled and will highly recommend this company to anyone looking for tile, granite or other stone work.

From the very first meeting with our designer Rachelle, we knew we had made a good choice. Rachelle was professional, organized, and genuinely invested in bringing our vision to reality AND within budget. The entire team at Nu-Way, from Karen to Jimmy and Steve was outstanding -- we were always kept abreast of each step along the way. I always knew what was happening, what was coming next, and why certain decisions mattered. The team that did the actual work, Todd, Sean, Dan and many others were on-time, professional and their craftsmanship is exceptional. The drywall and painting teams were amazing. Every cabinet line is straight, every tile is perfectly placed, and the finishing details show a level of care you just don't see every day. They treated my home with respect, kept the workspace clean, and finished on schedule. My kitchen is now the showpiece of my home, and I get compliments from everyone who walks in. I would hire them again in a heartbeat and recommend them to anyone looking for a contractor who delivers quality, integrity, and true pride in their work.

We are very pleased with the overall experience we had working with the team at Marble and Granite…read moreExpress (MGE)! As soon as we walked into their doors, we had a welcoming experience. Exceptional customer service from the start! Justin was very informative, educated us about the process and gave us an approximate quote based off our measurements right away. I came here because of the reviews and I am glad I did! I've had less than acceptable experiences working with various contractors and I wanted to work with someone who was timely, cost effective, great customer service and good quality. I expressed that to Justin and he was so understanding and assured me they are all those things. He was right! The next day Jorge came to my house to take measurements. He was very polite and knowledgeable about granite and overall experience. They say it takes two weeks from the date they receive the slab order you pick out. That is indeed true. I had a very specific granite vision of what I wanted. I went to a few suppliers and found the one I wanted. However, when it came in, the slab was cracked and MGE did not want me to be disappointed as they genuinely cared about the finished product and quality. We sent it back. Then, Kleopatra called me and offered to come with me to the suppliers to help me look at the granite and inspect it herself. I was so relieved and was blown away with how she went above and beyond to keep me informed of everything and to ensure I chose the granite we would be satisfied with long term. We ended up picking Avalon White from MSI. She inspected it and showed me which part of the slab they would use. I was reassured and so excited! Their prices are competitive and cost effective for their customers. The install team was outstanding. Our home is a historical home built in 1884, so the ground isn't as leveled. They stayed for 6 hours reconfiguring until it was perfect. They wanted to ensure it looked pristine and they do!! We love them and would highly recommend MGE to anyone. Matter of fact, I sent two people there already and they are pleased as well. Great work MGE team!

We stopped in their showroom on Michigan Ave a couple months ago. We were pleased with the choices, hospitality and salesmanship. We have a very active, busy schedule and the sales staff set a date to accommodate our schedule and last Friday afternoon, our beautiful new countertops were installed. The installers were knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly. We appreciated being able to support a small local business, whose inventory surpasses the big box stores. Their knowledge of their products and their friendly attitudes will have us recommending the service and products, personally returning for any future products that we could incorporate them into.

I will start with the pros: their selection is very good. That's it. The cons outweigh this…read more I was referred to this company by a family member that used them. She commented on the selection and nothing else. In hindsight, I should have run for the hills. We went to the showroom several times to walk the warehouse and choose the perfect stone. Quartz is what we ordered. Pierre and his brother own the shop and while they were never overly friendly, they were professional. The day we came to order the stone and discuss details, things went well and Pierre scheduled us within weeks for measurements and install further out on the calendar. Supposed to be two dates (measuring and install). Prices weren't cheap, but weren't the most expensive either. I was so excited that this company seemed to be on their game. His brother came to quietly take the measurements on the scheduled date. Install day comes, two men show and wait for bigger guys to help them. Bigger guys arrive and carry pieces in and determine they did not bring the right size. So the whole install day is scrapped and we get scheduled another two weeks out. This time only three small guys show up without proper equipment to bring in massive slabs of stone. They rest an over 9 x 5 foot slab on our wood step denting it. THEN after getting it into the kitchen, chip a whole corner off of the island top, turn around to see if we saw, and spend about 40 minutes trying to glue it back together which we said we won't accept. It was probably a 4-5 inch piece busted off the corner. The workers (specifically one I did not get name of) get irate at us and call their boss Pierre. Lots of yelling in a different language and I get handed the phone to say we need a new piece of stone and the step will now need repair. (Pierre agreed to both without apology). The one worker was so rude every time, he was actually scary and we really didn't want him in our house again. So we get rescheduled yet AGAIN. This time, two men (who had been out prior) come out with the stone and only do part of the job. No reasons why, but explaining your process to customers (that you do the counters, then island, then backsplash at all different times) would be nice. I can't even list everything that went wrong. The sink cutout that we paid $250 for was done wrong. It was to be flush as stated in the initial meeting. Apparently Pierre didn't write that down and blamed us for the problem. Even when it was recut, it doesn't match our sink (that they had the whole time). They wanted to use these huge, ugly black plastic brackets for under the sink. We had to go buy our own stainless steel brackets to use instead. They won't use clips or glue. They hacked into our drywall and cabinets to make their ill-measured stone fit. The backsplash doesn't go up to the bottom of the cabinet (they told me that's not possible), so big gaps under the cabinet and between the top of the backsplash. Caulking cracked within a week of install though the temperature was the same in the room. The grout (or glue) between the stone at the seams is missing/has gaps and is yellowing. I sent photos and called Pierre about this. We were rescheduled for a recaulk once after being told it was a temperature problem (which it is not). It's about skimping on product and using cheap materials. We were treated poorly at every touchpoint after the initial sale. I am very disappointed they don't stand by their work and that our kitchen has zero warranty.
