My husband found this store's website that advertised pricing starting at $19 psf for granite. We…read moretrekked out to Harrison Township to check it out. He made an appointment with someone for us to come see on Saturday. The person wasn't there. Kelly helped us pick out two different types of quartz that coordinated, for our kitchen island and counter tops. She also had us pick out sinks and hardware for the kitchen and wet bar. We didn't ask for it, but she assumed. Whatever - we needed them anyway and happy to get it done. My husband brought our kitchen blueprints with him, and she wrote up a quote. It wasn't any savings for if we would have stayed in the Ann Arbor area, but we were tried of shopping for counter tops and just wanted it done and Kelly got it done for us. Looking at the bill, nothing was itemized. Labor, stone, hardware, nothing. All was listed and a total given. When I asked what the cost was for these items. She gave a verbal on the total cost of the sinks and hardware together. If I would have pushed, I am sure I could have had one, but I would expect that a quote for $12K+, an itemize invoice is a given. This raised a flag for me and I wanted to leave but my husband said it was ok - that was about what he estimated we would be spending. Still left me uneasy but again, we were tired and my husband wanted to be done. You get a 3% break for paying cash. $1000 down with credit card at the time you sign, a check for half due at the time they come out to take measurements, and the rest at the time of install. The check clears quickly. I was super excited that they were able to come out to take measurement on Monday, when we signed on Saturday, and Kelly said she'd do her best to get the install scheduled and done before my mom's visit on the Friday coming in two weeks and she made it happen. Installers did a great job. Kelly let us know what to expect and we were prepared. They don't install the hardware, but they will drill the holes you will need for it and install the sinks. The sinks have to set 24 hours before installing the faucet, waterlines and disposal. My husband is very handy but if you are not, have a plumber install your drains and faucets. Not something to mess around with and ruin your new kitchen. Ours looks fantastic. Trust Kelly's eye for color and coordinating. We love it.

The owner is unbelievably rude. By far the worst I've ever dealt with…read more Called and verbally attacked me (threatening a lean) without first explaining the situation. This was less than a week after installing and I had paid my contractor in full. Demanded payment without fulfilling outstanding deliveries promised by their salesmen...by the 3rd sentence he was threatening a lean on my house for the "outstanding balance" over a $65 dollar item. Just wow - great work Greg. I'll be sure to not recommend you far and wide.

I am extremely happy with my new kitchen completed by Complete Kitchen Design. The cabinets,…read morecounters and sink all look great! Every part of the entire project from beginning to end went smoothly and was a great experience. Joe Allen made some great suggestions for the design such as moving the sink to the corner to use what had been just wasted space before. Everyone I dealt with on the project including the carpenters, electricians, and installers were very professional and easy to work with. Joe kept me in the loop the entire project, and it was even completed quicker than I thought it would be. The cabinets, counters and sink all look great, everything is high quality. The entire experience was excellent overall and I definitely would have them do remodeling again in the future. I highly recommend using Complete Kitchen Design!

I highly recommend Complete Kitchen Design. Bill, Joe, and the rest of the team were great to work…read morewith. When we moved into our house, the kitchen was outdated. It had the original cabinets from the 1970s. The shelves weren't even, and there was barely any counter space to work with. We knew we wanted to replace all the cabinets, get quartz counterop, and upgrade the layout to be more functional. We called another competitor first, and they quoted us that the bare minimum of what we were asking for would be over $45,000, which was more than twice our budget. When we met Bill, he wasn't pushy or salesy. We told him our budget and what we were looking for, and he was able to meet every expectation. It took about 8 weeks for our cabinets to come in/be made. Immediately after that, Joe and the crew came and completed our kitchen renovation within 2 weeks. My partner and I work from home, and the renovation did not disturb our workflow at all. We'll definitely be working with them again in the future when we update our bathrooms!

Preferred came out tore the old countertop out without doing any damage and installed the new one without doing any damage. Crew was courteous and owner came out to help and made sure everything was done correctly. I would highly recommend this company to do do countertops in any ones house. Side note the manufacturer of the flawed countertop Mont marble backed their product and covered cost of replacing new countertop. Hats of to Ted and his crew for excellent job.

The entire process of working with Home Depot was an absolute nightmare from the beginning. Once we FINALLY got our cabinets installed, we had their countertop people come in and measure. At that time, they said it would be 2-3 weeks max. After the 2 weeks had passed, I called the company to see when they would be scheduling the installation and was told that they did not know when we would get our countertops as the stone was still sitting on a boat. No ETA, no "I'm Sorry's" just miserable customer service. This is at the end of Nov. The process started with Home Depot in Aug. They ruined my Thanksgiving holiday and were about to ruin my Christmas holiday. I called them to tell them I wanted a refund on my countertops and that I would find another company to install them. They told me no one would have it or get it installed in time, but I could do it if I wanted. Well, I was referred to Preferred Marble and Granite and from the date of my call to instillation it was less than 1 week...AND....it was cheaper. They did a superb job with measuring, cutting and installing my countertops. I cannot recommend them enough. For any project you need done, I cannot urge you enough to work with them. They are fantastic, starting with customer service and ordering all the way through the follow-up of the finished result. You cannot go wrong with them.
