I asked the Native Americans what sort of lodging they had available, and they said "is a Teepee ok?" I was like, "Teepee OK!" And thus, this place was named the Teepee OK Lounge. What to get: Honey Lemon Black Tea w/ Aloe Vera. What else: If you see Vera, be sure to say "Hello Vera!" If your southern veggies are lukewarm, that's not Teapioca. It's Tepid-okra. I've been here thrice now. The second time was the best. I didn't properly appreciate Teapioca Lounge the first time I came here in 2016, so in 2017 I returned, and I enjoyed it much more. Then I came back in 2018 with the porn goddess, and she didn't like it at all, and I thought it was more mediocre than I remembered. And with an insane wait time too. Boo. Some of the best Bubble Tea in Oklahoma, although that isn't saying much. Babble also has a good claim as OKC's best, and I haven't found any other good ones. The service was wonderful both times, especially the first time, and the prices are pretty good. Actually the prices are very good, but I expect that in Oklahoma City. However, what's really great about this place is the "build your own Boba" option which means you can make a really great drink, since a lot of the items they have on the menu are just okay or kinda good. I had a black tea with lemon and honey and aloe vera which is basically a bunch of my favorite things in a cup and it came out absolutely amazing. Really delicious bubble tea. Highly recommended. If you like lemon, give it a try, and see what you think. Aloe Vera is a great, tasty alternative to the tapioca (which ironically isn't amazing here, a little tasteless), and has a nice, delicate texture like an alien fruit. Then again, my most recent visit here, that drink came out pretty mediocre, and Barbie - who loves those - hated it. The milk teas here are good, but not great, and not as standout as the build your own fruit tea products. I wish they had a brown sugar/black sugar Okinawa-type drink. Smoothies - I'm not so sure. I would say the chain close by - Bambu - is the king of smoothies (try their Honeydew, Berry ones, Taro Coconut, and Mocha flavours), but for fruit teas, Tapioca Lounge is a good choice. Just about hangs on to its 5 stars despite the most recent visit. Not to be confused with Peepee-ocho Lounge. Teapioca has been one of the old, go-to places in OKC for a few years now. To kill some time with some out of state cousins, we thought we'd stop by Teapioca because of the short distance and good reviews. I've been here a handful of times and have never had any issues. They're usually a little busy, but it was fairly slow around 5:30pm. Because this place is so tiny, it can get annoying waiting in line in this crowded environment. Finding a seat is no fun either but as stated, that wasn't an issue this visit. When you've got "Lounge" in the title, you better have some fun stuff to do, and Teapioca delivers...well, they used to. They still have the cool touchscreen table with games, although it seems a bit outdated now. As for board games, they really need to buy some new ones. I think all we saw was Jenga, which is great, but man, this Jenga set was so old and gross; the box was held together by tape, and all the pieces were discolored. Come on Teapioca. This place was amazing when I was in high school. So up to date with furniture, decor, games, tech, etc. Why does it look the exact same years later? Nobody wants to play HIV Jenga. As for the boba, everything tasted great, and their prices are still some of the most competitive in OK. I have been going in to Teapioca Lounge since they first opened and my journey towards health can be seen in what I choose here. I absolutely love the taro with large boba. Boba are little round pieces of yummy goodness made from tapioca. They also have sinkers, which are gelatin pieces of various flavors such as mango. They put them in your drink. The flavors such as taro, coconut, etc, are essentially milkshakes with lovely sinkers or boba. You can also have things such as green tea with boba or sinkers. They have straws that are larger in diameter do you can suck up the sinkers or boba. The restaurant also offers flurries, which are essentially snow cones on a plate. They also have hot teas, but on this they fail. Today I ordered hot tea and they have a good selection. But they brought it to me in a cup meant for a cold drink and it was soon misshapen and worrisome to me. I asked for another type of cup and was told they didn't have one! read more

The beautiful lime green walls are accented by whimsical brown wooden script and symbols, there are sleek and comfy black lounge chairs and couches as well as tables, outlets, and free wi-fi. So far I've tried their avocado smoothie (made with real avocados!), cream tea, iced coffee, and passion fruit green tea which were all just around $3 if you are a student.
