DYLAN GEORGE FOR THE WIN!! This review may be several months late however, it is well deserved nonetheless. Last year, I hired Dylan George from Team Wu magic to host a virtual magic show for my IT Department. My firm has been working remote since 2020 due to the pandemic and a lot of our team building activities had to transition to Zoom. I wanted to do something fun and unique to celebrate the Halloween season virtually in 2021 and thankfully I found Team Wu magic. Dylan George was hired as our magician who conducted a full magic show for us over Zoom. I'll be honest, I didn't really know how this would work or translate virtually as "magic" seems like an art that needs to be done in person. Boy was I wrong! Dylan was PHENOMENAL and his magic and illusions had my generally introverted team members actively engaged and having a blast. He was able to read the virtual "room" well, and knew how to interact with his virtual audience which made the show even better. I really didn't know what to expect with a virtual show but Dylan put my mind at ease with an exceptional show that was praised by everyone in my IT team afterward. If anyone is thinking about hiring a magician in-person or virtually, HIRE DYLAN GEORGE! You will not regret it! I hope to see him perform live in person one day. THANK YOU DYLAN for a FANTASTIC SHOW!! read more

I had the pleasure of having Dylan entertain the guests at my birthday party and he definitely delivered!!! Let's just say he made believers out of a few non-believers! He was simply amazing and I am so thankful he performed for us! read more

BOOK THEM NOW! We had an intimate 40th b-day dinner for my brother in-law and wanted to surprise him and the guests w/ something special. Dylan George surpassed our expectations and some! He was amazing w/ both the kids and adults. I appreciate that he started w/ the children and allowed them to feel like little stars performing w/ him. As the show continued each adult was left in awe and amazement. Even hours after the performance ended, all our guests were left absolutely mind blown and still talking about Dylan George! His performance was truly the talk of the party and highlight of the night. From booking to the day of performance, Team Wu Magic was professional, organized and absolutely magical! We look forward to booking for future events! Thank you Team Wu Magic and Dylan George for an unforgettable experience! read more

When budget opened up for my company holiday party--I knew I wanted to book a magician. After a few minutes on yelp, I found Team Wu Magic and booked them shortly thereafter. Johnny sent out Dylan--and he couldn't have been more perfect. He showed up on time, checked in with me, and gave me a rundown on how his time would be spent...and it was smooth sailing the entire time. Dylan was incredibly personable and was such an entertainer. He really was able to capture the audience. In a room of 80+ ppl? He impressed us all! We "ooohhhed" and "ahhhhed" and we "WTF"-ed. lol But truly--he was awesome! read more

Dylan performed at my sister's 30th birthday I hosted 2 weeks ago and we are still all talking about it! Where do I begin? He dazzled our group which ranged in age from 5 years old to 66 years old, with the majority of us being in our mid 20s to early 30s. How he could keep this broad a group desperately engaged is beyond me. He is a genuine entertainer and damn fine magician! Book him! Your event will be better for it. read more

Run don't walk to book Dylan George!! We were looking for a fun and unique way to recognize our associates and let me tell you, Dylan George from Team Wu Magic did not disappoint! Dylan came highly recommended by several co-workers who used him for associate engagement events so we took the plunge and I am so glad we did. He was energetic, funny, interacted well with the group, was able to pull folks out of their shells and overall, was just a great act. Our team is still scratching their heads trying to figure out how he accomplished these tricks virtually! We have a diverse team and Dylan was able to cater the show to all--it wasn't cheesy and I can honestly say, I've never seen the types of magic tricks he performed for us. Booking was quick and easy--I cannot recommend him enough and look forward to having him back in the future. Thanks Dylan!! read more

Dylan is amazing! We for sure believe in Magic now! Great energy and entertainment highly recommended great with kids and adults!

I contacted Johnny for my son's 11th birthday party. I wanted to make his birthday special despite the quarantine rules and it seemed like having a few boys seated outside watching a magic show was appropriate. I did a quick yelp search and got a quick reply from Johnny. I got the feeling from our phone conversation that this would be a birthday party my son would never forget! Johnny was happy to arrange for proper social distancing rules and Brad Lee, the magician was great. He arrived on time, wore a mask and the boys really enjoyed the show. The material was engaging for kids and adults. I probably would not have thought of this idea under normal circumstances but if i am ever in need of a magician again in the future I will definitely return to Johnny WU and Brad. Thank you! read more

The magician (Brad Lee) sent to our birthday party was energetic, friendly, and really knew how to work the room! My guests loved having a magician (adults birthday party) and he definitely made us feel special. From the initial phone call to the end of the booked time, it was a great experience. Having a personal phone call from Johnny made me feel like he wanted to give each customer an unique experience. read more

Just experienced one of the greatest shows! Thank you Brad Lee for making the party extra special. So much fun!!!

Johnny's a great teacher! Here's my story. I wanted to ask a girl to prom but didn't know how. He taught me an elaborate card trick that would wow her into saying yes. After spending a little bit of time with Johnny and practicing at home, I felt ready. One day while hanging out with the girl, I told her i've been practicing magic and pulled out the deck of cards. I performed the trick for her and at the end, a piece of chocolate appeared and on it, said "Prom?" She was stunned and amazed, and while laughing, she said yes!!! I couldn't have done this without Johnny's help. He has many magic tricks up his sleeve. Some modern, some classic, but all impressive and fun. I hope to learn more magic from him soon! read more

Johnny was the main event for my flower girl's 6th birthday party. Johnny was funny for both adults and children! His jokes were great and his magic was greater! He was really good with the kids, especially ones that tend to yell out or get in the way (I'm a teacher so I know how difficult it is to wrangle in kids sometimes). He was very patient with them and was able to redirect them (verbally and magically). I for sure can attest that I enjoyed the show, maybe even more than the children. I was so impressed by his magic that I showed videos of it to my co-workers! I would hire Johnny for my upcoming wedding, but I've already booked a live band. I have slight buyer's remorse now haha. I totally recommend Johnny for all your magic needs! read more

Johnny Wu is an outstanding performing magician and a realistic instructor. He knows that you may not have the time to practice, practice, practice but Johnny has a keen eye on telling you what you need to improve on based upon your skill level. From my experience, I met Johnny at an event where he performed. Having taken magic classes myself, I was thoroughly impressed with his mannerism and technique. I spoke to Johnny in possibly having him teach me a few magical tips thus improving my chances for my audition at the famous Magic Castle. He was happy to do so and in our first class together, he was able to assess my skill level and tutor me accordingly. Johnny charges $150 per session which I felt was a little high at the time but when I realized that once you learn an effect or the skill, it belongs to you....and you keep this skill or effect....forever! Well, as long as you remember it...so practice, practice, practice!! In just one session, I was able to do a number of "card flourishes" and card vanishes. Johnny didn't just leave it at that...he also gave me homework to do so when I met him again for the next time, I would be ready for the next skill set lesson. The thing I like about Johnny's method is that he doesn't try to teach you his personal routine, he has quite an arsenal of skills and effects he can teach you....but he listens to what you want to do with these skills and will teach you accordingly. Safe to say, when my audition at the Magic Castle came, I used the tips, skills and effects Johnny taught me and I passed the audition in my first try! Thank you Johnny Wu! read more
