The largest cost was the transmission flush for $978. They added a four-wheel alignment service for $157 that Discount Transmission Center didn't charge me for at all. Toyota also said I need to have my evap core cleaner done for $97 and Dave explained that was just an upsell and was not necessary. I'm so glad I did not get my service at Toyota but I was recommend to speak with Dave at Discount Transmission Center aka DT Automotive Services . He performed all the same services Toyota was offering. He also added a service to do a coolant flush for my radiator that he recommends every 50k miles. I brought my paperwork from Toyota with everything they said they checked as needing service. Dave looked over all the same things Toyota inspected, so he can feel confident I was getting the correct maintenance. Dave said the total cost was $392.14. I wanted to cry because it was a huge savings. Praise God for mechanics that can still be trusted, regardless of your knowledge with vehicles. I completely recommend this shop for anybody and they have made a new long-term customer for life along with everyone I recommend. I'm also going to be putting a complaint in to Toyota about their representative trying to rip me off as a single female.

I made it clear, that I didn't want a subwoofer and told them I just wanted my speakers enhanced and I got exactly what I requested. I was beyond impressed of how the Amplifier boosted my speakers. They quoted me for the work, days before the installation, I paid, and didn't spend a dime more, there definitely weren't any surprises along the way. This, was an all day process for them. I dropped my car off at 9:00am, then picked it up at 5:30pm. They have great communication, they called me with a question, on where I would like my AMP screen, and I listened to the suggestion, agreed, then told them to proceed. (That rhyme wasn't intentional lol) The installation Tech will, sit with you in your car for verification that the Job that was done, meets your standards. All-In-All I would definitely recommend an amplifier install here. They know what they are talking about, plus they listen..literally!

OK, I was only there once. But…read more.. I picked up an older car which I was going to be driving cross country and took it here for evaluation which needed to be done essentially immediately. *My* experience: I had gone to another tire place which recommended replacing only 2 of the 4 tires (which had chunks of rubber de-laminating). Consumer Car Care (CCC) showed me where all 4 of the 10+ year old tires were in bad shape, and sold me 4 highly rated (per Consumer Reports) Kumho tires at the same price the other outfit wanted for 2 Michelins. I really don't need the more expensive brand name. This saved me not just serious $$, but also saved me from a probable blow out. Second, they could have recommended a lot more work than they did. They only changed out the 10+ year coolant and did an oil change. For a car this age which was not religiously maintained, recommending changing out the brake fluid, transmission fluid, belts, and hoses would not have been unreasonable. They checked all of the above and rather than taking a quick profit from someone they were never going to see again, they were honest. 5 months later, no problems. Based on my experience I would highly recommend CCC, trusting both their recommendations and quality of work.
