Had my 2013 dodge durango towed into the Mechanicsburg location for an overheating issue. Was told it was a blow head gasket and cracked block. The cracked block had my suspicious of being scammed. Been going there for years now all new faces. Paid the bill for being checked over and had it towed home, when tow driver showed up they tried to stop him. Turns out it was just a bad sensor on water pump. Will never go back after years of being a customer. read more

Got run into a curb, switched to my spare only for that to separate from the wheel itself. Came in at 5:00 with only an hour until they closed and they were able to straighten out my wheel and put a used tire on in order to get me home during the snow storm. Thank you so much guys! I bought a pickup that was inspected and passed by Team One on 10/25/2016. It failed inspection on 12/20/2016 in Virginia because the frame was rusted and had been "repaired" with fiberglass and putty (which is an instant "fail" in PA, as well). I trusted their inspector to do have done his job properly and legally. Had it not been for Team One's incompetence (we'll go with benefit of the doubt that they were not part of the fraud that was committed) I would have avoided spending a lot of money for a truck I can't drive. read more

This shop is extremely helpful honest and the work is always top notch. My 08 Nissan Rogue has benefitted from their capable mechanics work for several repairs small and more significant. Each time I was treated fairly given the necessary options as well as a variety of prices solutions relative to what works for me. It is usually never a good day one has to go to the mechanic but not with Team One. They work fast to get you back on the road. I use the Paxton St. location so I can't attest to the other ones but I'm sure they're great too. I also recommend the oil punch card to keep your oil changes easy and economical. read more

I used their special $15.99 inspection/emission ($20 out the door). I was initially failed for an item that should have passed. I complained to a manager and received a terse response. I then complained online and was personally contacted by both owners. The owners listened to my complaint and could not have been more understanding and willing to correct the problem. They bent over backwards to keep my business and we were able to come to an amiable resolution. Obviously people make mistakes and its good to see when a company realizes it and makes it right. read more

My car wouldn't start, got a jump and took it over to Team One on Paxton St. Within 5 minutes they determined it was the battery and ordered one. Within 30 minutes battery was there, installed and I was back on the road. Thanks Team One. read more

normally a very good place with decent prices and honest replacement or service needs for your car or truck, but the last a/c charge estimate to replace the whole a/c system instead of focusing on the wire that was broken has given me a little concern and caution when dealing with this shop. Instead of a $1600 repair bill as they suggested we found a way to fix the broken plug wire connector and saved ourselves a lot of money! Makes you wonder why they didn't consider this easy and cheap fix option instead of the expensive route? hmmm,.. read more

I took my car in for an oil change. It seems as if a new filter part numbers was released for my vehicle. Unfortunately, the book Team One used had the old part #. On my drive home I got an alert telling me I had low oil pressure. I called Team One and they responded by offering to drive 20 minutes to my home to put the right filter in the car. Not long after they were in my driveway with new part in hand. Replaced the filter in 10 minutes. That is what I call going above and beyond. read more

Do not trust them!!! My daughter came in for a PA Inspection today and they told her that her vehicle will fail for rusted rotors, thank Goodness I have worked in the car business for over 15 years and know that a vehicle does not fail for a little weather related surface rust on rotors which are not causing any braking issues. I spoke with the "manager" and told her to go ahead and put a rejection sticker on the car and I will take it further. After hanging up she told my daughter they would just go ahead and pass the vehicle because a $2,500.00 fine from the State wasn't worth the little bit of money they were making off of the Inspection/Emissions testing... what a dishonest shady shop, btw... this will still be taken futher! Copied from the State.PA.US website for---RUSTED/PITTED BRAKE ROTORS The presence of rust or pitting on brake rotors, by itself, does not constitute a failure for the purpose of inspection. Inspectors should determine if rust is a temporary condition (surface rust) which sometimes results from the vehicle being parked for a period of time. In order to reject a vehicle for rusted/pitted rotors, the inspector must determine that the rust/pitting is causing diminished braking performance that prevents the vehicle from stopping within prescribed distances. If the rotors are above the minimum thickness and there is no rejectable scoring, the inspector may wish to note the rust/pitting on the customer's work order. read more

Beware. Attempted rip offs. We used coupons for cheaper service. They found all kinds of "problems" that "needed fixed as soon as possible". We took it to another mechanic for a second opinion who LAUGHED and said the car was FINE. read more

I do have some good things to say. I like Jeremy at the Harrisburg location. He was professional and courteous at all times. I first went there with a coupon for $19.95 for the state safety & emissions test, it included a tire rotation as well. I passed emissions but failed the safety for a few things that were completely valid reasons. Due to the amount of how much it would've cost me to have them do the work, I just had my own mechanic do the work at a later date. Jeremy never tried to pressure me into having my work done there. Thank you Jeremy - I appreciated that. Which is why I planned on returning to this location to have my car re-inspected. But when I called to schedule my re-inspection Jeremy said they were booked. So I called their Mechanicsburg location and spoke to Jason. He informed me they were also booked solid. Then he asked me why I didn't just have the work done at the time of inspection. I informed him I have my own mechanic. He suggested I contact my mechanic to get my car in with them instead. I explained that my mechanic does not have a shop, he's just a friend who fixes my car. Jason proceeded to tell me how they do over twenty cars a day, blah blah blah...and that's why it's better to just have the work done at the time of inspection so it gets done right then & there. That totally rubbed me the wrong way. And I asked him what his point was since I still have to pay another $20 out of my pocket to get it re-inspected. Jason had the audacity to say how they don't make any money off the inspections and how this was a missed opportunity for them to make a sale/profit, etc. and he'd love the opportunity to have my business in the future. (REALLY??!! Did he just say that to me??!!) So lemme get this straight, according to Jason I should want to give away hundreds of my dollars unnecessarily to his company instead of getting my work done elsewhere at a fraction of the cost, and reliably. Hmmm that's a really tough one there. (LOL). What an insult to my intelligence! And blatant shadiness! That did it for me. I will not return to this business EVER. read more
