If I could give 0 stars I would. I took my car (2018 Altima SR) for an oil change on 12/31/19 at 1:30pm. I picked up my car from the dealer and I found that the leather on the steering wheel and blamed me for it. Why the hell would I damage my own steering wheel? They said that the deep tears are from normal wear and tear (I owned the car since new for just over a year) which is absolute nonsense. Found Team Nissan of Vineland Nj through Car Gurus during my car search. I called them a few hours before I came since I was driving from out of state .Issac said he would have both models ready for me to look at. When I arrived Issac was there but was unavailable to help and had to wait for another salesman to help. Esaias pretty nice at first both cars of course wasn't ready had to go to the lot to find it so that i could test drive it. Finally when it was time to negotiate a deal. That was stressful they failed to tell us about the 1.9 at first they said they didn't offer that then when we pulled it up online they all in a sudden said they offer it. lack of knowledge coming from amateur salesman at this dealership. Reached out to the dealership on Monday and told them that i would be coming back to purchase the car that I wanted. And to please have it ready. Once again driving from out of state It took me about 1:45 to get there you think that the car would be ready. Finally in the process of paperwork Esaias my salesman at the time was really unprofessional. I asked them what am i going to do if I get pulled over driving with expired temporary plates they said they weren't going to pay if i had gotten a ticket and on top of that the car mats that they personally delivered to me of course they were the wrong ones. I also inquired about my gas reimbursement for the empty tank. Don offered me a $20.00 electronic giftcard fo if I were to give them a good online rating 20 bucks wouldn't even give me a full tank. Worst dealership i have ever had to deal with . Very incompetent not happy with the services provided. They need to revamp the whole team . Finally reached back out to Don after not returning my call for a week . He told me that that CPO cars certified pre owned do not come with car matts knor do they put a full tank of gas in CPO gas. A drunk driver crashed into my wife's car while we were sleeping, and since it was 2021, she wanted to complete the buying process of her new vehicle. We had no intentions of buying a new automobile before this unfortunate situation. She made an appointment with Issac, then we arrived, spoke with Esaias who showed us the car. She still asked me to go with her to ensure everything went smoothly. I guess you can say everything was fine, until we reached to the money. It's all about the dollar, I get it. We want to pay less; they want us to pay more. However, Team Nissan charges a $500.00 dealership fee to everyone that buys a vehicle, new or preowned. PURE PROFIT FOR THE DEALERSHIP! Fine, we'll still buy The following business day, we came to pick up the vehicle. A quarter tank of gas was left in the car, missing floor mats (You could have left the old mats in the car at least), and there was no one to show my wife how to use the Nissan. We purchased car certified so I expected a better sales process than this?!? When we finished signing the paperwork, a team member just handed us the keys and pointed, "there's is your vehicle." I guess we didn't pay enough money for the car to warrant great service. Typical! Their slogan is, "at home or in-store, we're here for you.' Clearly, they're in business for themselves. My wife called the new sales manager Don about this, and he didn't care. He states that since he was just hired and wasn't there in the beginning of the sales process, his department, nor himself is responsible for what happened. Yesterday, November 8th, I went into Team Nissan in hopes of getting out of my current vehicle. I owed more than it was worth and needed something bigger since my family has recently expanded. I was nervous that the only way to get out of my current car was with an over bearing payment. I worked with Mike Coulter on the sales floor and he was very straight forward, helpful and knowledgable. He asked the simple questions "What do you need in a vehicle?" And "What is your payment price range?" I sat back while he did the work flawlessly. I've experienced the worst service in this dealership. I took my wife's car for a recall in September 2016 after 6 hours they call me to notify me they don't have the airbag I can pass by a pickup the car. The service advisor told me they would call when the airbag arrive. January 2017 I call to check the status of the airbag recall and no one had a answer. February I call again they put me on hold and after 20 minutes they told me the part wasn't available. Beginning of May I called again, the service department was suppose to give me a call back that same day and a week passed and no one ever did. Finally I took the car to get the recall fix. Made an appointment at 9am and the car wasn't ready until the next day at 1pm. Then I call to check the status at 3pm and the service advisor tells me" if we haven't called you that means it's not ready" in a unprofessional manner. I am happy to report on a genuinely enjoyable car-buying experience at Team Nissan. This was my ninth (9th) dealership that I visited on my most recent quest to replace an aging utility vehicle. I emailed extensively with Alicia Sparks, who was communicative, open and motivated -- not just to "get me in the door" as so many other e-representatives from other dealerships have done, but actually to make a REAL deal happen. Alicia communicated in an open and positive manner, both professional/knowledgeable and also friendly and cheerful. I was honest and upfront with my wants and limitations (I was working on a budget), and I feel that she was honest and upfront with what she and her managers at Team Nissan could do to meet my needs and make a sale. They offered me a very fair price for my trade-in (after 8 other appraisals, I know that they came in on the 'high side of average' which was wholly acceptable to me), and worked with whatever current Nissan promotions were available in order to shave off any costs we could on my end. The deal was all but signed before I even showed up at the dealership to test drive the car. (Let's face it, it's a brand new Nissan, it's not like I expected any negative surprises come the actual test drive.) On site, Ray handled the sales end, which admittedly was just a test drive and orientation, and some paperwork. But nevertheless he was pleasant, chatty, and seemed to have a thorough working knowledge of the vehicle inside and out, able to answer any questions that came to mind. A few other managers came out to chat with me, but there was no dreaded "manager hard sell" moment, it really was just friendly banter. During my extensive research and purchase attempts, I encountered all sorts of dealerships. Some were refreshingly candid (Carmax), some were indifferent to my needs as a customer (Penske Auto Group), and some were downright con artists who obviously prey on the gullible (hello, Cherry Hill Triplex!). But Team Nissan was the first to combine all *positive* aspects in order to make a sale happen while also making me feel respected and valued as a customer. Please note that as of spring 2016, Team Nissan is operating out of temporary trailer housing during showroom construction. So after visiting several dealerships over a 4 week period looking for a Nissan Altima in my price range, I stumble upon Team Nissan in Vineland. I found a car in my price range and I decided to take the 45 min drive from Philadelphia to Vineland to see if what I was seeing was foreal. When I pulled up on the lot I walked over to the car I was interested in, I was approached by Danny, one of the sale consultants. He introduced himself to me and told me they were closed but he asked how he could help. I explained to him that my car had died about 4 weeks ago and I was looking to buy a car within the next few days. He invited in me in and asked me to fill out and applications so that we could run the numbers to see if the car would fit my budget, which was fine with me because I cared about was getting a car to fit my budget. When they ran the numbers we were about $20 a month over budget and so after spending 45 mins with Danny and the finance manager I decided that I need a weekend to think about it and that I would get back to them on Monday. This was the first dealership I had been to in 4 weeks that did try to pressure or insult me (see Cherry Hill Nissan review) when I told them I need a few days to mull it over before making a decision. After mulling it over and doing some research over the weekend and counteroffer the number I was given over the weekend and we were able to come to an agreement. Throughout the entire process I treated with respect by Danny and his managers. They answered all my questions and never once made me feel like my questions were dumb. The only reason I am giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is because I didn't get a full tank of gas and I wanted them to throw in the touch pen for to 2 scratches I found on the car and they wouldn't. I should preface that I got a really, really good deal on the car, so I can kind of understand not wanting to give me anything else. I purchased a car from this dealership a few months ago and it has been the most frustrating experience of my life. During negotiations, an employee slipped up and mentioned a crack in one of the windows that I must not have even noticed, but sure enough, there it was on the windshield, 11" long. They claimed they didn't notice it but it was obvious that they weren't going to disclose the info. I still bought the car and 2 days later had an alert that my oil life was at 2%, I had to take the car back to get an oil change and all the fluids checked and filled. They claimed they did then 3 days later ran out of wiper fluid. Clearly they did nothing to prep the car to sell it, not even a tank of gas. So now a month later I get a call that there was a "glitch" with the computer and the tax info was wrong and that I owed them another $130 if I wanted my plates (at this point I had expired tags) I sent them the money and for two weeks heard nothing. Made several calls to the manager John Park, who was never available and never returned my calls. Finally I called dmv and they told me the plates were mailed a month earlier to the dealer, so the time lines don't match up and I strongly believe they lied to get more money from me. It took a call to Nissan corporate to finally get some kind of a response from them, come to find out that the plates have been sitting at the dealership the whole time. Funny how when they want money they get right on the phone but when the customer needs something they're too busy to talk. I finally got my plates and all is said and done. After sitting in traffic and almost home I realized I forgot my Ezpass in my returned vehicle. I called the dealership and spoke directly with Bill. I took responsibility for the mistake however, explained to him the importance of getting my pass as soon as possible. I drive several hundreds of miles each day with alot of tolls. He assured me He would get it out in the mail on Saturday. 6 days later I call the Bill to find out that my Ezpass has been sitting on his desk and was just mailed out today.
