So many irresponsible things she did when she was my property manager - I don't know where to begin. As an example, she did not take care of my property at all. When the tenants reported a pipe leak in the house, she called to inform me (this part is good). But then she signed a bunch of paperwork with the contractors/plumbers without informing me, and then took off to Hawaii for vacation. I was left chasing the contractors and tenants to understand what exactly was going on. I requested a backup agent in her office to check on the house but she declined. So I had to find a local agent myself to check on the house. Needless to say, I later found out a bunch of paperwork she signed with the plumbers/contractors and had to deal with insurance and plumbers all by myself. She was no help at all. I should have taken her to court if I had the time.

For almost a month we knew when the home would close escrow and I made my plans accordingly to make it as smooth as possible, especially for me who works 40+ hours. I had ordered a POD a week before close date to load up and have it delivered. Well, a week before closing I was hit with I wouldn't be able to move in because the sellers would still be in the home. Lytle tried to say his sellers had 5 days to stay in the property but there was no paperwork. His reason was that his sellers were old and their moving truck wasn't scheduled until 3 days after closing. Then we said we would get legal involved and his answer was that by the time legal gets involved his sellers would be out of the house. Mind you I have already scheduled days off work, my wife had already scheduled days off work to move and we have a 7 year old that had to be taken out of one school district to another. Then I decided I'm fine we will give the 3 days if we can drop our POD, since it was already scheduled to be delivered to the new address. The sellers agreed to that. We sent out the form agreeing to the 3 day extension and a prorate of how much it would cost us for those three days. They never signed the form and the night before the POD was to be delivered, they said it cannot go in the driveway. Something they had agreed to verbally. So because there was no way to stop the delivery they had to store the POD at their facility. That brought me to the fact that once escrow closed, the sellers had no right to the property. Despite the fact the sellers had their property in the house and possession of the house keys still, brought me to the only recourse that I was going to park my vehicles on the driveway. That was because the only signed contract was that they had until 5pm on the day of the close of escrow to be in the home. Thankfully it never got to that point and my POD was able to get delivered and I received the prorate of my mortgage for 3days, along with the fee I was charged to store the POD at their facility. That don't excuse the fact that he was willing to break a contract because he messed up by not securing extra days his seller could be in the home. Had that been in the front end I could have planned accordingly. That was something I did upon the sale of my house and something that is easily worked around.

Also their escrow company is Hallmark they are rude and made many mistakes on my final check and worst of all; delay the close of escrow by 2 more weeks which means I had to pay 2 more weeks of interest...
