Started looking around for some quality patio furniture that would last a long time and determined that high quality teak was the way to go. Searched around on Yelp and came up with a few teak dealers in the OC. We visited several including Teak Stop. We spent quite a long time with Nico talking about our options and talking about the furniture in general. We came back a second time a couple of weeks later to pick out our specific pieces and fabric choices. Nico has a great eye for what works together in terms of pieces and colors/patterns, but also works with the customer's vision to create great combinations. Nico put together a great package for us, including throwing in some cushion upgrades and an extra side table to sweeten the deal. He worked with us on our delivery schedule since we needed the furniture for a party at our house, but were also going on a vacation meaning the furniture couldn't be delivered too early. Nico called us the day we returned just as he promised and reconfirmed our delivery date. He called again the morning of the delivery to confirm again that his guys were on the way. If you compare all the teak prices out there, JAVA Teak offers the most competitive prices for excellent quality (it's all assembled in his local warehouse) with GREAT SERVICE. Nico is personable, friendly and genuinely wants to make sure you are comfortable about your investment and cares that you get what you want. No pressure sales. (We went in 3 times before we bought). We were hesitant about the maintenance on teak however, but if you compare other options such as iron or all-whether wicker, it costs just as much to get something that looks as good. Thank goodness for Nico! I've called him twice for all my teak questions and he's been so willing and able to help. He gives great advice (in detail) on how to maintain your teak. You can tell he's passionate about quality and service. He can also refer you to teak refinishers and stands by their quality versus just referring any joe-shmoe. The cushions are from a third party vendor and can take up to three WEEKS but he usually prefers them delivered to his warehouse so he can do quality control. That's the added service Nico brings.
