Yes! They dragged me into the candy store. Crazy to think!…read more This store is jammed packed with candy. The barrels are the fun part! I have a little who LOVES Salt Water Taffy and this store was a hit. She got her candy and we went to pay. The cashier asked if we wanted to round up for something, not sure she was very clear, but the first response from my kid was no and then I said no as well. When I mentioned I said no she stated I said yes, indeed I said no. When I said I want the full change back she replied well, I'll have to call my manager and told me to step to the side. Even the gentleman behind me spoke about it and said "no is no, no matter the amount". The manager was very nice and mentioned something about an automatic button. That's crazy that they just go ahead and do whatever. How many other people has this happen to. Not cool! Ultimately it was a great experience, but have to watch that.

Cheerful staff rings up classics from Cow Tales to Toxic Waste. Not sure why it got a few low reviews, but to counter some of those, this isn't meant to be an artisanal chocolatier. And not sure why people would think that. It's classic brands along with specialty ones you can't get at the grocery store. It's definitely on the pricey side, but that's just what you get in the touristy Stockyards area. Its prices are in line with other retail shops in the area. So go, bring a credit card, and just enjoy being a kid in a candy store. :-)

As soon as, you walk in, the doors are pretty heavy. The two ladies at the the register will greet you right away. You will have a lot of fun looking at all the Pickle merch. Some interesting products I liked were the Pickled Pretzels, Pickled Popcorn and the Pickled Hot sauce! . It's very neat inside, everything's organized! There are a lot of things that are price and there are some things that you're unsure of what the price is will be? However the ladies at the register new their prices. I wanted to get a little souvenir. So,I got a Pickle eraser, a pickle sticker and and the Pickle Seltzer. If you need to use the Restroom. Restrooms are available down the hallway. They are clean and modern. I would definitely recommend this place. They have a variety of merch, the staff is friendly and you're guaranted to fine something pickled!

There were two walls celebrating the history of the company, and the informational plaques were very enlightening. Yes, I do enjoy a good pickle from time to time, but I don't think I'm that fanatical about the former life of a cucumber. Ha ha! Even still, check out the Emporium. You certainly won't be disappointed. By the way, the two staff members on duty were extremely friendly and welcoming. The place was also very clean and laid out beautifully.

This place is the best!! Who doesn't love olive oil?…read more My mom and I decided to stop in because why not, and now I'm wondering why I haven't been in before. We were immediately greeted by Charles who was wonderful, told us how everything works, and showed us the layout. There's a ton of wonderful olive oils of different intensities, some infused with flavors like basil, lemon, garlic... some that are spicy.. and then all kinds of balsamic vinegars as well. There's also pasta made from scratch, olives and tapenade, gourmet jellies, etc. Cookbooks, beautiful cutting boards, salt blocks. And there's also a whole line of bath & body goodies made from their olive oils. Soaps, lotions, lip balm, body butter, and more. Everything looks and smells so good! I was thrilled to see several gluten free pasta options, and the best part is they cost the same as the traditional. That never happens!! I bought two bags (only $8.50 each) and I cannot wait to cook and eat them. I picked out a few gifts for my aunt (shop local, people), including a small bottle of basil infused olive oil for only $14 and a beautiful lemon linguine. Staff will get samples for you if you want to taste anything, and they'll also fill up your bottle of oil or vinegar for you. Everyone was wearing masks and using hand sanitizer. I already have ideas for more gifts I want to get, so I'll definitely be back soon. And if anyone wants to be buy ME a present, I'd loce pretty much anything from this shop!

You truly cannot find this level of quality in any other type of store. They bottle what you select on site. Many of the olive oils are flavored with various spices from cardamom to cayenne. Likewise for the Balsamics. I am a purist, and addicted to the traditional balsamic vinegar, aged 18 years. My wife loves the Santorini oregano white balsamic vinegar. There are very few places where you can find a robust olive oil, but they have them here, and they are worth a taste.
