Tea

Really impressed with Teacision. My usual critique with boba places is that the teas are too sweet, but at Teacision, they were perfect! They have a wonderful variety of teas. The place was clean and vibey. This was my first time here and I will definitely be back!

A chill place. I didn't know what to order, and there was a board at the front of the register that named the customer favorites. Thank goodness. I ordered the Lychee Coconut with boba - everything has to have boba! I requested low sugar, and still the drink was sweet enough. The gentleman that served me was very sweet. This may be my new place to chill while I wait for my daughter to finish her hour class

My wife wanted to stop by here to get her Jasmin Milk Tea and get her mom a drink too. She would always come here after getting out of College of the Canyons so since we were in the area, she wanted to stop by. She got me the green apple slush here before and it tasted so water down so I never order it from here again. When we came today, they were not busy at all so we were able to put in my wife order right away. For the bathroom here you'll need a key that you get from the worker. The drink came out quick and my wife along with her mom loved their drinks. I looked at their menu to see if they had any snacks or food but they didn't have much.

I love Teacision! I've been here a few times and I always enjoy their drinks. This time around I got a vanilla lavender coconut milk tea and I would 100% recommend, it was the perfect combination of creamy, herbal, and sweet. You can control the sweetness and choose to make it lighter or heavier sweetness, or no sweetness at all. I don't personally like boba, but they have a great selection of regular boba and other add ins, including popping boba. The staff are always nice and friendly and there's plenty of seating. They have 2 tables outside during the milder months. The store has art inside that I think you can purchase, which is a really cool way to promote local artists.

Love this little shop! I've been in a few times for their loose leaf teas and even their boba drinks as well. My favorite is always the Thai tea boba and here you can get the sugar and cream level to your liking. Workers are always coming by to wipe down tables, check in on customers and make sure everything is up to standard. I appreciate the great service, and delicious drinks! Inside it's fire and quaint, great for a date, girls meet up, bring the family, kids etc!

Green tea with strawberry and watermelon

First of all dessert is amazing! The green tea cheesecake is delicious! Drinks- so many different drinks. My favorite is the rose milk green tea with boba on a hot day or my winter drink is an oat milk brown sugar latte. Ambience- this has become my favorite study place. Super clean, relaxed, and great wifi. Also a great hangout spot to just play cards or hang out with friends. Service- everybody is so nice. It's been 2 different days that the staff will come lower the blinds for me without even asking. They are so welcoming and it truly makes it feel cozy to study here. My favorite boba place in SCV

I really wanted some matcha and have had this place saved in my bookmark for awhile. Since I was finally on that side of town I decided to stop on in, I didn't look at the menu as I already knew what I wanted but they have quite the options to choose from, literally you make the tea-cision! I was greeted by an older man, who took down my order and also made my order. I got a strawberry match with almond milk, light sweetness and light boba. In the pic I uploaded you can't tell my matcha is strawberry but once you start to drink it and let it sit for a little the colors start to separate, but just give it a good swirl and it's back to being 'blended'. It has a really good flavor and I like how the bitterness of the matcha is to a minimum as I added the strawberry flavoring. The ambiance is very open with a good amount of seating that is both artsy and practical. It did say that this place was an art gallery as well but I only saw one piece of art on the wall. There were a few abstract pieces hanging from the ceiling throughout the shop as well. It's quiet but also that may have been the time I stopped in as well, even with a small group of ladies in there catching up on small talk.

Came in on a wednesday afternoon, we got a thai tea and a mango peach passionfruit, we waited about 5 minutes for both drinks. The mango peach passionfruit was pretty good, but the thai tea was not. It tasted like milk without the taste of thai tea at all, we had it remade thinking they just messed up the first time, but the second drink was just the same. I feel like thai tea is a pretty common drink that's hard to mess up, definitely would not recommend getting one from here. The vibe of the place didn't feel that welcoming, it was pretty dark inside despite it being 2pm and sunny and the setup of the menu feels messy. There were a few people doing work there though, so it might be a good place to do some work

Ordered chocolate slushie expecting a chocolate slushie but was given just blended milk. Asked if this was chocolate and they said yes and left. Tastes like blended milk and is white. Friend has chocolate drink and tastes actually chocolatey.

Strawberry Matcha with honey boba
Season S.

The ingredients taste nice and fresh, and I like the honey boba (it's more on the mushy side). Ambiance was chill and minimalist, plus the wait wasn't too bad considering there was only one person when I came in. My only complaint was that I wish the strawberry flavoring was more present, as it was more of a "hint" of strawberry. Perhaps I should get double strawberry since you can pick up to 3 flavors? Overall, I wish I lived a lot closer because I feel I'd frequent here.

We…read moreappreciated that we didn't need a reservation and the price point was very reasonable and a good value compared to other tea experiences we have had. The food was very tasty. We tried 6 different sandwiches. 4 were delicious. The salmon was my favorite, with the chicken curry being a close second. The tuna was tasty, but all the same shade of beige which was a little off putting, but still tasted good. My least favorite was the egg salad which needed more seasoning. The scones were really delicious. We got a white chocolate and a butterscotch scone that was straight out of the oven. Absolutely heavenly! The teas were also really good. We enjoyed them so much we bought some to take home. Mine was the coconut cocoa and my friend got the caramel chai. They were equally delicious. Our server Brett was so attentive and friendly. He accidentally put in a sandwich option incorrectly and when we mentioned it, he immediately told the chef to make the sandwich we had ordered with a cheerful attitude. The only ding for our experience was it felt like the establishment was ready for a bit of a refresh, (there was some chipped paint around and a light out in the bathroom) also although the decor was charming, it felt like it needed a good cleaning. I think they also missed an opportunity for a more upscale ambiance when the wall of teas had sloppy handwriting on the tins. This is all super nit picky and didn't take away from our overall experience and we will definitely visit them again.

The food is extremely basic. My friend got eggs that were scrambled and over, WAY- OVER cooked. I was shocked she attempted to eat her entree. The tea sandwiches are nothing extraordinary either, nor was my cold soup. The scones were microwaved and our bills were well above $35 a person. While the experience wasn't terrible it wasn't anything to return for either. Sorry Yelpers but it's a hard pass moving forward. Cheers to good eats xx

She also made sure my husband tried the Vietnamese coffee before he ordered it because it's sweet but it is SO GOOD. I appreciated that she wanted to make sure we loved what we ordered and took the time to help us order the right stuff. This was the first time I had honey boba and while I think I prefer brown sugar boba, the honey was delicious also! My daughter got the Carmel cream and added boba and loved hers as well. She also got an adorable corgi boba keychain. This was a good stop while driving past Valencia, we'll be back!

I finally stepped out of my comfort zone and tried the Cookies & Cream Hojicha (with light boba). Since I can be a bit sensitive to caffeine, I was hesitant, but the curiosity won out because those Oreo bits looked too good to pass up. I learned it's a roasted, concentrated tea, think of it as the tea version of a Vietnamese coffee. The verdict? I'm OBSESSED! It gave me a nice little energy boost without any of the jitters. If you're a fan of deep, toasted flavors paired with a bit of crunch, this is the one. My husband went with the Strawberry Colada smoothie, which he loved. He said for some reason it reminded him of the strawberry shortcake ice cream from when he was a kid lol. Beyond the drinks, the service here is what really earns the five stars. The team is consistently kind and helpful; they greet you right away and genuinely care if you have questions. The barista even told me that if I didn't like my drink, they'd happily make me something else. That kind of confidence in their product is so rare and so impressive! The shop is always bright, clean, and welcoming. We'll definitely be making a pit stop here every time we're in Valencia and craving boba or a smoothie!

The inside is a shared space with an optometrist but everything feels very cohesive and homey. They had a winter menu with peppermint, gingerbread, and other festive ingredients for your drinks. We ordered an iced ube matcha and an iced regular matcha. We sat in the lounge couch while we waited for our drinks. We originally ordered two 16oz drinks, but mine came out in a 12oz size. We checked our digital receipt to make sure and sure enough they were both 16oz drinks. So I went to the counter to let them know. They took my 12 oz matcha (which looked delicious), and then like a minute later, handed me a 16oz matcha. To be honest, the new matcha looked slightly different in color. I didn't see them remake my new drink, but it felt like they took my 12 oz, put it in a 16oz cup, and just added milk to make up the difference. The ube matcha is great if you enjoy ube. It's sweet without it being too sweet. The green (matcha) and purple (ube) when mixed together will get you a mud color, so take those photos before and after mixing, haha. It tastes great though! The regular matcha was ok. It's hard to rate because of the mix up. I'm not sure if that was representative of their regular matcha, in which case, I do wish it had a stronger matcha flavor. It wasn't a weak drink, but it still tasted too milky. If they did indeed just add more milk to make up the difference in their mistake, then that would explain why it wasn't as strong, in which case that 12oz original drink would've been perfect. While we did sit in the patio, there is a restaurant a few doors down, and one of the workers there comes out for a cigarette break pretty often and the smell does blow over to this patio, which was unfortunate. We also got whiffs from the sewer nearby. Not sure if that's a daily thing but good to know for next time.
