It really doesn't get any better than this. I've been shopping here for my child since he was 4 years old. Five years later, I still come back for every occasion for my kiddo. The highest quality toys, games, books, crafts and anything you can imagine. Prices are great. I feel good buying items from here because I know Jane and her staff have done the research and know the products. I rarely walk out of this store without finding some cool new thing...even for myself! My child LOVES to come here and play and could stay for hours! read more

History

Established in 1989.

Teacher's Corner/Kid's Mart was formed in 1989 after Teacher's Corner, then a small teacher supply store, merged with Wilderness Toys, a home based toy store. Jane Burbank worked for the partners as an employee. Jane and her husband, Dale, made the decision to buy out one of the owners in 1994. In 2000, the Burbanks bought out the other partner and became the sole owners of Teacher's Corner/Kid's Mart. We are proud to be Wyoming's largest independently owned and operated toy store and the only teacher supply store in the region. Our knowledgeable and friendly staff of retired teachers, young parents, and college students is dedicated to assisting our customers. They will gladly help find the perfect toys or gifts, or the resources teachers need to enhance their classrooms. They can also recommend great resources for parents interested in helping their children with school work at home.

Meet the Business Owner: Jane B.

Under Jane's careful management, the business grew, and in 2005 they moved the store from its original location at 223 S. Gillette Avenue (across from First Interstate Bank) to the other end of the block at 201 S. Gillette Avenue. This doubled the store's floor space. After Dale retired from teaching in 2013, he started working full time at the store. Teacher's Corner/Kid's Mart continued to grow, and once more, moved in 2014 to our current location, 213 S. Gillette Avenue--right in the middle of the same block. Once again, this doubled the store's floor space. In that same year, Jane was honored with the Kelly Swenson Award, the Campbell County Chamber of Commerce's business person of the year award.

The staff at Walmart has always been pleasant. Walmart online is another story. I ordered a…read moredresser, it was delivered to the incorrect address. The supervisor stated that I would get a refund...in 10 business days. I'm out $100 on a dresser, can't purchase another one until I get my refund. This is not the first time either. Do yourself a favor, shop Amazon. At least the customer service supervisor at Amazon tells you the truth. Walmart online customer service makes the rules up on their own because not 1, but 4 ddifferent agents said 4 different things. This is why I won't be ordering from them ever again.

Extremely HELPFULL and knowledgeable staff. I have been in this store hundreds of times at their existing and previous locations and the service and quality of their service and products is and has always been outstanding. I am not driven by price alone - I am driven by knowledge of the product and integrity of the staff whenever I shop. The staff here understands age related education and toys - could not be more helpful. We shop here first always when loking for grade related education toys, books and games. read more
