I was seeking a fully ambidextrous pistol to feature in my video series, Carrying for Self Defense…read more I picked up a Ruger American Compact from another shop and found it performed poorly as an ambi gun. Brandon showed me the ambidextrous guns he had in stock. A nice, used CZ P10 (that I thought was overpriced), a Walther PPQ M1 Classic, and a HK VP9. I narrowly chose the PPQ (the European paddle mag release and very capable ambi slide releases being key) over the P10 and Brandon gave me a good trade-in value on my Ruger and the PPQ has proved itself quite capable from the Ambidextral Gunfighter perspective. www.ambgun.com

I get a phone call telling me I have pitting on my barrel. So I get it back and take to an actual certified gunsmith who runs a world class shop out of Sheridan and he broke the gun down and gave me the bad news: the gun was never cleaned as fully as they claimed. I was pretty irked when I got this text "Who ever claimed to have cleaned your M1... never took the bolt apart. You have rust in the ejector spring. Not bad yet. But that will get cleaned up." Followed by a picture of a paper towel with sludge all over it. That's what $180 got me. Should never have gone to T&T and did try to civilly talk to them about this and the guy got very defensive and immediately began attacking the gunsmith working on my gun now.
