I have just recently been getting into brewing loose teas instead of tea bags and was delighted…read morewhen I found there was a place in Amarillo I could purchase loose tea although I know it is not the only place. They definitely had the largest selection though. The girl who was working there was very knowledgeable about all their various teas and I learned a lot that I hadn't previously learned from watching YouTube videos and passed on a little bit of information back. I was going to limit myself to $20 but ended up spending $50 because I found so many items that looked interesting, plus wanting to order a drink there to try out. The place is very nicely laid out and the teas are sold by the ounce. I like that because I could buy a little bit of this and a little bit of that to try out and then I can always go back to get more if I like one better than the others. The atmosphere was very comfortable and welcoming. If you don't want to buy loose teas they have drinks available you can buy, everything from your basic flavored teas you can pour yourself in the back room out of standard dispensers to specialty teas using the loose teas they offer for sale. The place is very easy to find and visible from the street. If you need a landmark it is across the street from Dickey's Barbecue and The Lazy Gator shopping strip. There is parking available right in front. The only reason I took off one star was because I got home and found that there was no receipt in my bags. Most places if they aren't planning on giving you a receipt will ask you if you want one and I always say yes please. If I'm going to spend that much money in a store I'd like to have a receipt to compare against my credit card bill and remind me how much each purchase was. It may be the girl just forgot because we were talking so much or they may not be in the habit of asking. Later I found I had received an email with the information but I'm old school and would rather have a piece of paper I can look at. If you want to break away from Lipton tea bags and try something special, check out their large selection! In fact, I found teas here that I didn't find at Natural Grocers and Market Street and there isn't a blessed tea bag in the store. Oh, and they also have tea making utensils, pots, cups, travel cups, DIY tea bags and strainers you can put the loose tea into and a few more exotic Tea Brewers & dispensers, even some of those honey sticks that you can put in your tea to stir it around and sweeten it at the same time.

The barista was so kind and and patient! She had helpful suggestions and created the tastiest drink for me. I took my daughters back the next morning and they made excellent drinks for them as well! They even put really cute little keychains on top of their drinks! The store itself is clean and very cutely decorated!!

The building is just a horrible design on the inside. My coffee drink had coffee spilled all over the outside of it, and it was not wiped off and their paper towel holder was empty. The owner is a very rude guy and will put down others to put himself at an advantage to try to take their business for himself. He trashes people who are not in the room to try to make himself look better. Just didn't sound like a good way to build up your business. I only came in here for the free coupon I had to test out the business He's trying to run too many other businesses types at once. I would never go to a part-time doctor so I don't think I would go to a part-time coffee dealer. I also found out they didn't stir up the coffee so all the syrup was at the bottom so I had to throw about half the coffee away and couldn't drink it. If they want to charge nearly 7 dollars for this, they just need to do better.

The teas are refreshing and great for the road. I wish we have something like this back home. I don't remember what I got the first time but most likely would have been a sweet tea. This time I got a Sweet Wild Raspberry with blueberry topping. My husband got the Sweet Turbo Citrus tea. Both were really good.
