Oh I definitely made a point to come here before I tried kung fu tea and to be honest I wasn't super impressed. If you work within walking distance it's definitely an option and they do serve food but I didn't find their milk tea so good I need to come back unfortunately.

Wow, boba in Rochester. Came here with friends on a Saturday after our hike at White Water State Park. It was our first time in Rochester and was craving a nice cold drink. We were a little suspect of a 5 star boba review place in Rochester, but it turned out pretty good. The tea was solid and boba was chewy. I got the almond milk tea with boba with less sugar and thought it was pretty sweet. I probably would have thought regular sugar would be too sweet. I finished my drink in very quick. Boba is soft and chewy, but could be a little sweet. Texture is good but if they made it like honey boba or added some sort of sweetness, it would be even better. I tried the black milk tea too and it was good too. We live in cities, but if we're ever around in the area, we would definitely stop by again. Nice place across from Mayo Clinic.

Parking sucks, can never find a place to park so we don't go often but this is the best place for a brown sugar milk drink. I'm not fond of teas with milk so this one is our go to and it's delicious! Staff is friendly and will answer any questions.

I seriously did not expect to find boba in Rochester. In fact, I am inclined to say that this may be the only place that has it in all of Rochester? I actually noticed this shop several months ago, but I didn't go in because it was much too cold for me to even consider iced drinks at the time. Now that it's warmer, I decided to stop in since I had some business to take care of at Avis next door. The menu isn't so grand when compared to some other shops, but adequate enough. Majority of the time, I drink any type of iced tea unsweetened when it's offered. But on that day for whatever reason, I got the Kumquot Lemon Green Tea with the "less" sweetness level, and it was sweet. Crazy sweet. On top of that, I got strawberry popping boba when I didn't ask for it, so that took the crazy sweetness to a whole different level. I think it was a misunderstanding when I asked what it was. Not sure if I'd go back again, but, I sincerely hope that this business continues to prosper. The folks of Downtown Rochester seem to appreciate Tea Time being there.

Regular black milk tea with boba (half sweet). Do yourself a favor and get the large!

Who would've thought the best boba I ever had in Minnesota would be in Rochester? My friends and I decided to get a refreshing drink after our 3 hour hike. The trek from the Twin Cities to Rochester was worth it for the boba. I ordered the black milk tea with boba (half sweet) and was not disappointed. I was impressed with the flavor of the tea - it did not feel watered down, too sweet or left an after taste. The boba was chewy and soft, but was not sweet as I prefer it. The staff was friendly and there is free meter parking on weekends in Downtown Rochester. It's unfortunately that this boba shop is so far away from the cities, but this will definitely be a stop if I am ever around the area.

I'm always skeptical of boba in areas further away from the cities, but wow, I was impressed! Their milk tea was very refreshing and cold and you could taste the fresh tea. I got the black milk tea and my boyfriend got the almond milk tea - both absolutely delicious. The boba was great texture as well - chewy and soft. Only complaint is the boba wasn't sweet, but I was so impressed by the milk tea, this place deserves a 5 star regardless! Friendly business, nice area right across from the Mayo Clinic - Methodist campus in downtown Rochester.

Excellent boba. Service was excellent and fast. The location is great. Very neat atmosphere. So many good flavors on the menu. Personally I am not a tea person, but I enjoyed this. The drink is very filling, very good though.

Got a few teas. They were great, and so was the service. Conveniently located within walking distance of the Mayo Clinic however, not many options for parking.

It took me a while to find this place, being in the Khaler Grand Hotel Plaza, but definitely not one to miss if you love bubbletea and either live/visit good ol Rochester. I lived here the past 2 years and this place definitely hits my Taro Bubbletea fix. Id say its the only bubbletea here that I know of. I ordered Taro milktea with boba (tapioca) it had just the right amount of sweetness and the boba was soft but still firm (right where you want it) Definitely a great place to get a refreshing treat here in Downtown

We go here every now and then. I would suggest the large milk tea with half sugar. We would go everyday if it was a little bit cheaper.

When I was there last month, the parking lot was pretty busy. I didn't park steps away from the main entrance, but way to the right of the main doors. After a wonderful meal, I walked over to my car. I passed by The Fit Loon and it stopped me in my tracks. It had the feel of ZeeV's Nutrition Studio, which is my place for healthy, low- to no-sugar shakes and teas. Could this store be one? Yes! I was so happy that I walked in without any thought. I was greeted by a nice man behind the counter. He asked if I had any question as I looked at all teas and shakes listed on the wall. I settled on the watermelon crawl tea. Since I didn't have any questions about the menu and knew what I wanted, he knew that I was familiar with healthy teas and shakes. "Where's your nutrition homebase?" he asked me. "Toronto, in Canada. I used to live in Rochester and found your store in passing," I said with a huge smile. I asked if I could sign in to the touch pad. He said of course. It helps that I'm registered on the Engage app, so associating my drink with me when I pay makes everything easier. He let me know that the store was celebrating its one-year anniversary. What shocked me was that I have been coming to get pannekoeken in this plaza for nearly a year and I had never noticed this store until now. Where have I been?! This place had so much excitement buzz happening thanks to its anniversary. You could get branded merchandise, from hoodies and t-shirts, to drink cups. It had cakepops that looked amazing. You could enter a bunch of draws, to celebrate the store's anniversary. The snack bowl had an assortment of protein bars that I had never seen before. The store is cozy. I loved the comfy chairs. The wall with What's shakin'? and balloons was the perfect place to take photos. My drink was ready for pickup. I thanked both staff members and left. The man wished me a good trip, which I appreciated. The watermelon crawl tea was excellent. It had watermelon and cucumber. I felt like I was at a spa, but was visiting my old 'hood. It was the perfect drink to keep me cheerful and hydrated in Rochester, and kept me energized when I left and drove an hour back to Bloomington. The Fit Loon was a wonderful find. I will be back. I'm so happy that Rochester has a place where you can get healthy drinks. Such a terrific edition to the city! (424)

A tasty choice (check out the photo). Then I asked for a reuben sandwich with a side of fries. I really liked the two-tone rye bread. There was modest amount of corned beef. Notice I didn't say 'generous.' The kraut, Swiss cheese, and thousand island dressing were a solid compliment. BUT the fries.... Check out the photo and look at the fries. These were double dunked in oil, greasy and sogged out, slightly charred, and meh tasting. I looked over at another patron's plate of food and saw her fries looked perfect. Golden, single dunk in oil, and crisp. Can I add a sad face emoji here? I called over the bartender and had him look at my fries, then look at the other patron's, and tell me the difference. He saw what I saw. I told him what was wrong with mine and asked why. He apologized and said he'd take 50% off my food bill. I saw him go back to the kitchen and have a conversation about my fries, which I appreciated. He didn't blow me off and let the kitchen know they dropped the ball. I've eaten at a lot of places from dives to fine dining, and I think the sign of good eatery is one that can excel at the basics.....like french fries. Plus, when you have your "A" staff working in the kitchen, but your staff sends out subpar fries to a customer...what does that say about the kitchen staff and leadership? Will I go back? Not sure, but there other places I've eaten at in Rochester that are consistently good. If I ever have family or friends in town and we go out to eat, we're not going to Forager Cafe.
