The couple that run this café--Craig and his wife Toom--provide a great service to the community, besides being great people. My mother, my wife and my two little sons all love Tea Time as I do. From the matcha green bubble tea, to other bubble teas such as the Hokkaido, and the Nagasaki, there are so many delicious options. The soft and hard crepes are delicious. As a chocolate lover, I find their chocolate shake (with a touch of whipped cream and some chocolate syrup) a work of perfection. The fact that the owners allow schoolchildren to decorate the largest wall in the place shows they care about their community and want to keep it as welcoming place. This place is sooo cute! Plenty of parking outside and around the area. The two that helped me at the desk were Adorbs! I'm always searching for a great boba place that does fresh fruit smoothies. I hate paying money for powdered or syrup flavored fruit smoothies. A bit sad they didn't have peach fruit pieces but they did have mango. I ordered a peach mango smoothie with tapioca (boba). Yummy! Tastes like the ones I use to get in Texas when I was in school! The tapioca pearls were warm and chewy! You can also select your sweetness level which is a huge plus for those who are trying to cut sugar or don't want sugary drinks! EDIT: Owner responds with odd religious comment instead of apologizing for the poor service we received. Always takes a MINIMUM of 10-20 minutes to get your drink. Today, after waiting 10+ minutes and watching the employee talk on the phone in the back, we asked for the status of our 2 drinks (basic Taro and Thai- 0 modifications..drinks that other places have done in 5 minutes..). The employee didn't give a clear answer so we asked for a refund. We were told to call ahead of time if we are in a rush, which we actually did do before this visit and no one answered the phone. We then asked for a refund and we were initially refused. Eventually we got the refund but after this experience I will not be returning. Also, one time I paid with a $20 bill and the owner gave me back a literal $10 roll of quarters for my change...with no acknowledgment or apology. Who does that. Disappointed. read more

Did I mention the Mango selection? If so, it's worth mentioning again...the wife is a FAN, FAN, FAN! Tonight we had the matcha milk tea and a mango/lychee smoothie with red bean topping. I really enjoyed the texture and taste of the red beans in the smoothie, and the lychee gave it a really clean taste that went well with the mango. Having visited Japan last summer and enjoyed quite a few matcha ice cream smoothies, this one passed muster with flying colors! 10/10 will drink again. ;) It's a cool little place; the employees are super friendly, the drinks are fresh and tasty, and we managed to get in some Japanese practice while we were there. I live in Baton Rouge visiting a friend in Mandeville and we found this place while searching for local bubble tea restaurants. I am a huge fan of Thai Milk tea so I ordered that with tapioca pearls and my friend got the Mocha Milk tea with extra tapioca pearls. I must say that this is the BEST Thai milk tea I've ever had. It was perfectly sweetened and flavorful. They also had a wide variety of teas as well as other items such as Italian sodas. The interior of this place was very well decorated. It did take a little longer than usual to receive my order, but the amazing flavor of this tea as well as the atmosphere of this place was well worth the wait! This is my favorite boba place ever. I'm not a fan of traditional tapioca pearls, so I love that this cafe has popping fruit flavors and jellies. I've had every flavor of fresh fruit smoothie with several combinations of popping pearls such as kiwi, mango, peach, strawberry, and passion fruit. I've also had the smoothies with mango and rainbow jelly. Another one of my favorite drinks from here is the chocolate and peanut butter milkshake with coffee jelly. The staff is always friendly, but the service can be slow when there's multiple people in line. read more

The boba tea is so good! My favorites are the Hokkaido (coconut?) and Lavender teas. They are sweet, even for me (I love sweet), so I recommend 25% sweetness or less with the milk teas. The tapioca pearls are a necessity! Unless you don't like them, but you're a monster. There's usually only one or two people working, so the place can get backed up quickly. It takes a bit to mix the tea, but it's well worth the wait! The owner is friendly and helpful. If you don't know what flavor to try, ask them what they like. The only tea I didn't care for so far is the honey flavored one. It was cloyingly sweet. But, hey, someone else probably likes it! read more

I absolutely love bubble tea and I'm always trying it from different cafes. I stumbled across this place on UberEATS and I must say I will definitely be trying this place again! I ordered the watermelon bubble tea and my boyfriend ordered the banana bubble tea with strawberry lynchee! I love how they had plenty of options in place of the tapioca balls because my boyfriend doesn't really care for them. Well when the order was delivered they messed up my boyfriends order, they gave him strawberry tea with strawberry lynche which wasn't a big deal because it was still pretty good! What really impressed us was that they picked up on the error and gave us a call and acknowledged that they had messed up and personally delivered the right tea after we repeatedly told them it was OK!! Now that is customer service at it's best!! I will definitely be recommending this place to friends who live in the area.
