Tastes like the ones I use to get in Texas when I was in school! The tapioca pearls were warm and chewy! You can also select your sweetness level which is a huge plus for those who are trying to cut sugar or don't want sugary drinks! They also have a reward program where you just input your phone number! Needless to say ...I will be back for my peach mango smoothie!

I live in Baton Rouge visiting a friend in Mandeville and we found this place while searching for local bubble tea restaurants. I am a huge fan of Thai Milk tea so I ordered that with tapioca pearls and my friend got the Mocha Milk tea with extra tapioca pearls. I must say that this is the BEST Thai milk tea I've ever had. It was perfectly sweetened and flavorful. They also had a wide variety of teas as well as other items such as Italian sodas. The interior of this place was very well decorated. It did take a little longer than usual to receive my order, but the amazing flavor of this tea as well as the atmosphere of this place was well worth the wait! I will definitely be back to this place next time I am in town!

The couple that run this café--Craig and his wife Toom--provide a great service to the community, besides being great people. My mother, my wife and my two little sons all love Tea Time as I do. From the matcha green bubble tea, to other bubble teas such as the Hokkaido, and the Nagasaki, there are so many delicious options. The soft and hard crepes are delicious. As a chocolate lover, I find their chocolate shake (with a touch of whipped cream and some chocolate syrup) a work of perfection. The fact that the owners allow schoolchildren to decorate the largest wall in the place shows they care about their community and want to keep it as welcoming place. If you haven't yet stopped in, now is a good time to go! read more

I was ordering a tea while my daughter took her driving test. I have been to this location several times before. This time I had to go to the bathroom really bad before I made my order and the guy at the counter was very rude and stopped me from using the bathroom because he said I had to buy something first. Then when I told him that he was being rude he started quoting bible scripture. I will never come back to this location again... read more

EDIT: Owner responds with odd religious comment instead of apologizing for the poor service we received. Always takes a MINIMUM of 10-20 minutes to get your drink. Today, after waiting 10+ minutes and watching the employee talk on the phone in the back, we asked for the status of our 2 drinks (basic Taro and Thai- 0 modifications..drinks that other places have done in 5 minutes..). The employee didn't give a clear answer so we asked for a refund. We were told to call ahead of time if we are in a rush, which we actually did do before this visit and no one answered the phone. We then asked for a refund and we were initially refused. Eventually we got the refund but after this experience I will not be returning. Also, one time I paid with a $20 bill and the owner gave me back a literal $10 roll of quarters for my change...with no acknowledgment or apology. Who does that. Disappointed. read more

Great Customer service! Only legit milk tea place I know of around here... All the other "tea" shops I'm familiar with on Northshore are all that powder energy stuff that tastes like sour candy. Huge flavor range. If you're not sure what you want, the young man that works there is great at explaining your options. You can also order ahead and pick up. Takes a little long to wait but keep in mind they're making each item as ordered, fresh. read more

Did I mention the Mango selection? If so, it's worth mentioning again...the wife is a FAN, FAN, FAN! Tonight we had the matcha milk tea and a mango/lychee smoothie with red bean topping. I really enjoyed the texture and taste of the red beans in the smoothie, and the lychee gave it a really clean taste that went well with the mango. Having visited Japan last summer and enjoyed quite a few matcha ice cream smoothies, this one passed muster with flying colors! 10/10 will drink again. ;) It's a cool little place; the employees are super friendly, the drinks are fresh and tasty, and we managed to get in some Japanese practice while we were there. If you're getting your bubble tea on in Mandeville, it's gonna be tough to find a better product elsewhere! read more

This is my favorite boba place ever. I'm not a fan of traditional tapioca pearls, so I love that this cafe has popping fruit flavors and jellies. I've had every flavor of fresh fruit smoothie with several combinations of popping pearls such as kiwi, mango, peach, strawberry, and passion fruit. I've also had the smoothies with mango and rainbow jelly. Another one of my favorite drinks from here is the chocolate and peanut butter milkshake with coffee jelly. The staff is always friendly, but the service can be slow when there's multiple people in line. read more

The boba tea is so good! My favorites are the Hokkaido (coconut?) and Lavender teas. They are sweet, even for me (I love sweet), so I recommend 25% sweetness or less with the milk teas. The tapioca pearls are a necessity! Unless you don't like them, but you're a monster. There's usually only one or two people working, so the place can get backed up quickly. It takes a bit to mix the tea, but it's well worth the wait! The owner is friendly and helpful. If you don't know what flavor to try, ask them what they like. The only tea I didn't care for so far is the honey flavored one. It was cloyingly sweet. But, hey, someone else probably likes it! read more

Just popped in to give it a try. Got a large banana milk tea with tapioca. Really enjoyed it, not too sweet! Only downside is not a lot of sitting room and had to wait 10 minutes but i'm guessing it's because it was lunch hour. Other than that I can say that i will come visit more! read more

I didn't know I liked bubble tea until my daughters made me go in one day to try it. It can easily become an addition! The tapioca pearls are fun and chewy and the flavored teas are yummy. We've been in twice now and the owners are so nice and welcoming. They will help answer any questions about the menu and offer suggestions. I really love the tea and the tapioca pearls are always cooked to perfection. The only problem is that last time I was there, the owner had on the news and insisted on having a super duper uncomfortable political conversation before I left...it really left a bad taste in my mouth. Once again, the boba tea is delicious, it was just really weird and uncomfortable. read more

Ordered Okinawa milk tea with boba and matcha milk tea with boba. Okinawa was delicious. Reminded me of those black jelly Asian drinks. Match was not powdery which was also really good. Boba was chewy and fresh. The shop seems to be owned/managed by a couple who were both really nice. If you're trying to get your boba fix around the area and don't want to drive into the city, this place hits the spot! read more

I absolutely love bubble tea and I'm always trying it from different cafes. I stumbled across this place on UberEATS and I must say I will definitely be trying this place again! I ordered the watermelon bubble tea and my boyfriend ordered the banana bubble tea with strawberry lynchee! I love how they had plenty of options in place of the tapioca balls because my boyfriend doesn't really care for them. Well when the order was delivered they messed up my boyfriends order, they gave him strawberry tea with strawberry lynche which wasn't a big deal because it was still pretty good! What really impressed us was that they picked up on the error and gave us a call and acknowledged that they had messed up and personally delivered the right tea after we repeatedly told them it was OK!! Now that is customer service at it's best!! I will definitely be recommending this place to friends who live in the area. My watermelon tea was super delicious as well, I'm happy that I don't have to drive to Metairie to get a decent bubble tea anymore!!! The woman who delivered it was Toom, she was super sweet and apologetic!! read more

If you're a bubble tea fan, or just a fan of trying new fun drinks you MUST come here!! The owners are so friendly and they really do value their costumers. They're bathrooms are always clean and they have super cute and comfy couches for you to sit and wait or just hang out! I am a frequent customer and they have never let me down! I highly recommend the lavender milk tea which is my usual, but my brother also loves their Thai tea! And I just recently had their cream cheese milk tea which is probably the best boba/milk tea I've ever had!! I will continue to be a loyal customer! read more

Established in 2016.

Me and my wife are complete addicts. We wanted to share our love and passion of Bubble Tea with everyone else. So we decided to launch Tea Time Cafe. We started out in Kenner LA at the Esplanade Mall. Since then we relocated completely to the Northshore in Beautiful Mandeville LA.

Quite possibly one of my favorite places of all. I usually order through Waitr, but every time i have been in, the staff has been awesome. The first time i went in was with my girlfriend who had never been before, the guy behind the counter (didn't catch his name) was extremely helpful and was honestly a sweetheart. The second time was a lady (didn't catch her name) and she was very friendly and also a sweetheart. I come from the restaurant industry, and i know how hard sometimes working behind the counter can be, so customer service is a very important thing to me. I usually get the Hokkaido Milk Tea with Tapioca Pearls, I have had the Coconut Milk, Almond Milk, Banana Milk and the Chocolate Milk Tea as well and they have all been incredibly great! The last time i had went the Tapioca Pearls were fresh and it was honestly amazing, I am currently about to try the Lavender Milk Tea and i am very excited. Great place, great service, great tea, the best boba tea. if you are ever looking for a place with great boba tea, i recommend coming here. It had been a while since I last stopped by Teatime, and since they recently reopened, I figured I'd give it another shot. Unfortunately, the experience has really gone downhill. I ordered a simple boba tea, and it took almost 30 minutes to get it -- and I was literally the only customer in the building. The new owner seemed flustered and overwhelmed, like they were trying to juggle too much at once. The shop itself was quiet... too quiet. No music, no energy, just a pretty bland vibe overall. On top of that, the place had an awkward smell, like something needed a deep clean. I tried to overlook it, but it definitely didn't help the experience. I also noticed I was overcharged for my drink -- more than I used to pay -- so I assumed prices had gone up, but they actually haven't. Not sure what happened there. Overall, Teatime feels like it needs a lot of work and support if they want to stay in business. I really hope they can turn it around, but right now it's just not the same spot it used to be. read more

This might just be the best boba place in all of Louisiana! At the very least it's officially my favorite, with the most authentic flavors/options that I've found in this state so far. If you know your boba, you've got to try this place. I had the original milk tea, normal sweetness, with tapioca pearls - it met all my expectations of what a perfect boba milk tea should be. I live in New Orleans, but I would definitely consider making a habit of coming to Covington and paying the $5 toll to get back just to have the Tea Time Cafe's bubble milk tea again. read more
