I have been coming here for quite some time for massages. You cannot beat $40 for an hour massage! I always ask for Amy, she will take care of you. I am pretty active and she knows just the areas I need the most work on without having to tell her. Pros: I love that for the quality of this massage is offered at this price point. The massages I've received are the deep tissue massages. It's really relaxing and you are taken care of. I usually am close to falling asleep when I'm getting worked on. Cons: parking can be a pain (I usually like to park in the front but there's only 2 available in front) since there are homeless people around about half the time. The room walls are pretty thin so if there are people coming in and out, you can hear it all. English isn't the primary language so sometimes when you call, it takes a bit to translate your message across. If you are using card to pay, there's an extra $1 charge. read more

I had a 30-minute massage here. The massage itself was okay, but after the first 10 minutes I asked for much firmer pressure because the medium pressure was very light. Unfortunately, the pressure never changed for the remaining 20 minutes. The bigger issue was the customer service afterward. I paid by card and wanted to leave a cash tip, but when I asked for change, I was told none was available. There was also a $3 card processing fee added to my bill. I ended up leaving a $7 tip, and the therapist seemed visibly unhappy because it wasn't the amount she expected. There was no thank you, just an attitude and she walked away. The place is not over price but the ladies demand 35% tips. I feel that tips should be base on the service. I gave her 20% but she said no because she stated that she work hard. Second time coming to this place. The massage was ok. Paid $70 for a 90-minute massage. I told the older Chinese lady that I have back problems and would like special attention around that area, but of course, she just did her own thing. I should also request that I don't like all that oil. I can't even get that oil off after I went home and showered. What annoyed me was that I tipped her $20 on that $70 massage. She said it wasn't enough, and wanted an extra $10. I wasn't going to argue with a little old Chinese lady, I just paid that extra $10. 1. They said they didn't have a reservation for me. 2. They didn't have a blanket for me so I was naked when they opened the door for a to see IF someone was walking by. 3. They has this small towel to cover my lower half. 4. Half way through I started to get cold and the masseuse just pulled the small towel to over a bit of my feet. 4. The worked on my neck and shoulder as asked, but i have bruises and it hurts so much that it hurts when my husband touches by back. I have been putting medicine on it all day ling and also yesterday. I woke up in pain in the middle of the night. 5. I had $40 cash for my 30 mins massage, but the older lady say "no tip" i then used my credit card. 6. I went in today for a couples massage. Woman would not focus on area I repeatedly requested - lower back. Instead of trying to help with the area I asked about, she focused on wiping oil all over me. When I asked for a firmer massage she dug so deep into my right shoulder, it is extremely painful now while was pain-free and loose before. Worst of all after my bf and I had such a terrible experience, they pressured us with extreme attitude to give larger tip. read more

I wanted so badly for this place to be amazing, at least decent, being that it is less than 1 miles from my home. I enthusiastically called and scheduled, not quite knowing what to expect from a new place and heard, "$40 for full body". Sure! Sign me up, let's see what this place is about. Unfortenently after my experience I can generously give 2 stars. Pulling into the parking lot I had to park in a dark spot on the far side of the parking lot due to the occupied spaces, 2 to be exact. I was happy when I got to move my car just before my massage thinking... ok, not bad so far. Minor hitch...solved. Then upon entry I immediately noticed the strong smell of what used to be a Chinese restaurant.....or possibly Chinese food that had recently been microwaved. Again, no problem.. I can work with this. After being asked to pay "up front" I was beginning to get a little concerned. Never, have I ever paid for a service that hasn't happened yet but I went with the flow handing them a $50 asked for my change.... yes. Now please. I go into the room and just as expected it's dimly lit, cozy bed..everything a normal massage place should have. Then the door closed behind me.. Really? That's just too much in a massage parlor that I've never been into! That leaves way too many questions to be answered! Which bed?.... Under the towel, or on top?... nude, clothed?.... First time here people!! It's cool though, everything got explained. She's got google translate. Moving onto the actual massage.... There is no such thing as, "please focus on this area" or "I'd like to keep partially covered". Nope. They weren't shy about massaging my butt, I won't be embarrassed about letting them. It wasn't until the towel was placed over the back of my head a knee placed on either side of my head so she could better dig into my lower back that the pungent yet familiar smell that resided in the head rest...could very well be someone else's drool. Moving on from that unpleasant possibility, I almost laughed out loud when she had some kind of flash back to her years in China when she mistook my ribs for a washboard and started kneading back and forth with her knuckles until the sheer volume of blood under my skin started giving me pins and needles. All in all... if you want a place to go for some quite and a nice oily rubdown fit for a bodybuilder about to go on stage, welcome home to Tea Spa.
