8am on a Saturday morning. A little hung over and needing an Asian soup to soothe the soul…read more.. Bring on Cho Dumpling House!! We started with the gentle, tasty, duck leg soup that arrived at our table 6 minutes after ordering. Super tender duck leg with soft delicious rice noodle. Just what we needed. Pow! So good and uplifting, another soup was needed - Beef Noodle Soup with glass noodles..!! ‍ O.M.G. This could be the tastiest beef soup in the world (probably). Flavour. Flavour. Flavour. The rich, meaty, beefy broth complimented by the unctuous, sticky, super-long vermicelli glass noodles. Lip smacking, chin dribbling deliciousness..! We'll be back. Tomorrow. And the next day. And the next day....

Meal was delicious and I enjoyed every single bite. Delicious quick fix. Service was efficient (though most of the staff were expressionless probably due to fatigue at the non-stop customer flow), waitress was really nice to lend me their staff key when I needed to use the washroom (located beyond the glass doors beside the shop, 2 room on the right). Recommended for those who want a cheap good meal under $20. P/S: This shop doesn't sell dumplings despite its name. You can find dumplings in the shops beside it though. P/P/S: You can grab some candy as you leave the shop, it's just by the door.

For those who have been to Taiwan or even Hong Kong for that matter, you would be familiar with the…read moreroadside stalls/carts that sell takeout bowls of soup with ingredients that you point at and are cooked up in front of you before you're on your way with a steaming personalised hotpot bowl. This has now arrived in Sydney on George Street but in a much more glamorous setting than a roadside cart. Given our rules regarding food safety, the ingredients are kept behind a refrigerated glass counter and you order off a sheet of paper. How do Asian countries manage to keep food at ambient temperatures roadside without 'issues' ? Anyhow, the choice of ingredients is quite staggering from meats, vegetables, balls of various fillings, noodles and tofu. The thing to keep in mind is that the bowl isn't very big so you can't load it all up with too much and the big thing to note is that it all adds up very quickly from a $$ perspective. I ended up paying $14.70 (and I don't think I went overboard with my choices either) which is a very expensive bowl of takeout hotpot with noodles. Something similar in Taiwan probably cost me about $3. The browl was very fragnant and as a I had chose mild spicy level, it had a good kick to it. Ingredients are typical hotpot quality but the big bummer for me was the price!

With a street food style, this small restaurant is great for a simple bowl of noodles, especially…read moreif you're craving it badly. They have a great selection of noodles to choose from which is topped with your choice of ingredients. I was stoked to find out they had the squiggly Nissin noodles plus I was able to add my favourite fish balls and shredded beef, which I frequently order when I'm in Hong Kong or Taiwan. I would definitely categorize it as comfort food.

A word of warning: Okay this is just my opinion because I'm extremely picky about rice and only…read morelike 东北 (northeastern medium/short grained) super soft rice, I can't help it. I've given the rice dishes here many chances, but I can't. I just can't. Even the 卤肉饭 (pork sauce on rice), I can't. The rice is just too hard. But might I suggest the Tomago-s (it's basically a really soft and savory egg omelette with cheese and whatever else you might choose, I usually go with mushroom and cheese, soooo good), the 盐酥鸡 (house special chicken basil), with the 盆栽奶茶 (the plant milk tea, it's basically like Oreo cookie crumbs and milk tea below to create that plant look). Any of the snacks should be good too.

How could you resist? T+ has quite a cosy layout with aqua blue and white theme all around. The layout of the menu is also quite cute and has a minimalistic feel it. The food. Presentation is of course 11/10. The Plant Milk Tea is so adorable, definitely instagram worthy. It also tasted amazing, but personally, I would prefer the Matcha flavour to be stronger; but that's just me... im just a Matcha addict. The chicken cutlet was presented well and was fresh and crispy! Customer service was also great!! Will be back soon :)
