This little restaurant has simply made my day. Their food is fresh + hot + yummy. Their service is awesome. Very friendly. Also they provide magazines to entertain u while u are waiting for the food. They don't have a lot of options in their menu but most of the food is really satisfying. The only thing that I am not happy is their variation in their bubble tea. It's not persistent enough. Sometimes is strong sometimes is old. This time was good so I gave them a 5 star.

Great Taiwanese food here! Didn't look really appealing from the outside, but the inside of the store is nice and the food is pretty authentic. The first time I came here, I ordered a take away for the Taiwanese Meat Sauce Noodle. It was heavenly- reminded me so much of home :) I loved the noodles (knife cut noodles!) and the sauce was just right. Portions were great too. I got to eat one bowl of noodles for 2 meals. My first experience with Sunflower was so good that I decided to go back again for a sit down experience. I ordered the classic Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup, and I finished every last bit of the huge bowl of noodles. Coming from a girl who rarely has enough stomach to finish a huge bowl of noodles, that was pretty epic. Noodles were great, there was MORE than enough beef (super tender too!), and the soup was on point. Tried the bubble tea too- that was pretty standard. I liked how it wasn't overly sweetened (makes me feel like I'm "healthier"). However after an hour or so after the satisfying meal, I started to get extremely thirsty. So I suspect there were some MSG in the beef noodle soup. I guess as long as you don't go too often and get MSG overdose, it should be fine ^^

We started with the gentle, tasty, duck leg soup that arrived at our table 6 minutes after ordering. Super tender duck leg with soft delicious rice noodle. Just what we needed. Pow! So good and uplifting, another soup was needed - Beef Noodle Soup with glass noodles..!! ‍ O.M.G. This could be the tastiest beef soup in the world (probably). Flavour. Flavour. Flavour. The rich, meaty, beefy broth complimented by the unctuous, sticky, super-long vermicelli glass noodles. Lip smacking, chin dribbling deliciousness..! We'll be back. Tomorrow. And the next day. And the next day....

Meal was delicious and I enjoyed every single bite. Delicious quick fix. Service was efficient (though most of the staff were expressionless probably due to fatigue at the non-stop customer flow), waitress was really nice to lend me their staff key when I needed to use the washroom (located beyond the glass doors beside the shop, 2 room on the right). Recommended for those who want a cheap good meal under $20. P/S: This shop doesn't sell dumplings despite its name. You can find dumplings in the shops beside it though. P/P/S: You can grab some candy as you leave the shop, it's just by the door.

Adorned with an eclectic assortment of Asian and hipster decor, the ceiling includes a plethora of white flowers, a shower head and some white hanging ghosts. The staff are friendly albeit very relaxed (they didn't always know the answer to our questions or have the waiter pad on hand when we wanted to order). We had one order mix up but luckily we'd received most of our food so not a real issue. The BBQ scampi were amazing. Grilled and topped with a mayo sauce, the portion was small but the flavour was big. The chili chicken was okay but really spicy and had a crunch that I couldn't get past. It felt like crunching glass or dirt and effected my overall experience of the dish. The dumplings were good but by no means the best I've had - those would be the ones at Din Tai Fung. The edamame was the best I've ever had with delicious garlic bits and salt. The duck pancakes were unreal- you should definitely get them. I really enjoyed the BBQ pork buns as well! The Bloody Mary was an amazing masterpiece with garnishes for days and the sake was great although I can't remember which we got. Something like barman's way? It was warm and a bit sweet. I would highly recommend this place. I imagine you would get brownie points if you brought someone here for a date! Don't be a Bogan, venture here and expand your horizons.

If you're in a noodle soup mood, then Mr. Chen Beef noodle is your place!…read more We came here after a long day of exploring the city and were hangry AF. The menus are digital and scanned from a tiny QR code which is pretty annoying if you're out with a non-tech savvy person like my mother. I ordered the wonton noodle soup and my mom went with the Lanzhou beef noodle. There is an option to choose your preferred thickness for the noodles. You can get it flat or round, thin or thiccck. After submitting the order we waited about 10 minutes for the soups to be out. I went with thick(ish) flat noodles and my mom got the thin. The noodles had great texture and held up well in the soup. The wonton had good skin to filling ratio and the bok choy was perfectly cooked. Their broth was a highlight, delivering a clear yet flavorful taste. I finished the whole bowl it was so good! My mom didn't complain about her order so I assume on her behalf it was good. Like, she called up our relatives to see if they wanted us to order to-go for them to try. Aside form the noodle soups, Mr Chen offers small plates/appetizers such as egg rolls, cucumber salad, dumplings, and stir fried noodles. The staff was quick and efficient. We paid with cash and I believe we were given a small discount. So pay in paper and not plastic! The vibes of the shop was calm and chill with soft light, wooden tables and chairs with water jugs at each table. The shop is located in a small plaza with 5 other restaurants and it's not too far from the trains. Overall, good noodle soups at a reasonable price. Service was quick and bellies were satisfied! Honestly, I'll never forget this noodle soup, it is definitely memorable in my foodie archive. Check them out if you're in the area!
