My friend said the matcha lemonade had more of a lemon and matcha flavor. We thought it was odd the menu board gave the option of "hot" or "iced" for lemonade since lemonade is never hot. Plenty of seating, most of which was open. They have loose leaf teas and other merch for sale. I bought a boba sticker for $1! Service was friendly. Only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is that there was no AC (or it was broken?). Given how humid it was, the cool air would have felt good. I don't live in the area but would come back if I did, especially if the weather was cooler.

The so called ice cream available in the stores doesn't even contain real cream, & is so pumped full of additives & chemicals that it doesn't even melt. We stopped by recently to check out if they still had the Grand Ole Creamery Ice cream, & they did. I was thrilled! True, old fashioned ice cream within minutes of my house. The location is now under new ownership & they are the nicest people! They encouraged us to try samples of any flavors we were curious about, or never heard of before, as well as tried & true favorites. They also gave us a short education on Boba, since we had never tried it. It was great to hear there were non-caffeinated options. The shop is also immaculately clean! Their tables & counters are spotless; not even finger prints on any of the glass cases, no funky smells, & everything there just seems to have its perfect spot. We can't recommend this shop enough. We have been there multiple times now, & look forward to seeing the owners bright, happy faces even when it's 5 minutes to close! :)

Malasadas are a Portuguese donut that laborers who came to work on the sugar cane plantations brought to Hawai'i where they became popular. And thank goodness they did, because they're delightful. They are often filled with tropical flavorings. These tasted just like the ones we had in Hawai'i. The li hing sugar is heavenly. We had guava, ube cheesecake, and haupia (coconut) fillings and we had an incredibly difficult time picking our favorite (I think ube cheesecake is the winner but it's a hard choice). The gentleman (I think the owner) was so friendly too. This summer they have a regular location on Mondays and Saturdays at White Bear Wine and Spirits, but they share on their Instagram where they are. If you can get them - do it. You won't regret it.
