Wow! I'm not sure what I like more: the cozy atmosphere, the intimate selection of local quality goods, or Dolores' sweet demeanor when sharing the local lore. Tea Baggers was a delightful experience during our stop in Urbana. 10/10 - would go again! read more

Make sure you have 2 hours to spare! It wasn't busy at all so not sure why it took so long! 4 adults and a baby. Ordered off the menu. 4 paninis, one side of pasta salad. 2 people came in after us and they were highly upset with the wait! The paninis were good. Pasta salad o.k. I really went for the lavender lemonade. I had it a long time ago and it was delicious! This time I couldn't really taste the lavender. Probably won't go back for a long while. read more

Amazing food! Highly recommended! We are so happy we found this little gem. I ordered a peanut butter, honey and spinach sandwich on fresh made bread! It was truly delicious! read more

The staff is amazing!!! Our drinks are the best we've ever tasted anywhere! I had the iced lavender Palmer and my partner had the salted dark chocolate mocha (hot). Would 100% recommend this location. My only regret is that I don't live closer to enjoy this spot daily. read more

Stopped in here for a coffee after leaving a local cheese house. Walked in and the decor alone was worth stopping, but the coffee was amazingly prepared. I got a salted dark chocolate mocha. And my BFF got a lavender lemonade/tea mix, that was also super yummy. If I hadn't already eaten I would have loved to try one of their paninis. The owners were super nice and knowledgeable. I can't wait to drive out of my way just to come back and get another coffee or a meal. Stop here for your new favorite coffee or tea place. read more

We loved everything about this small coffee/tea shop. Since we are visiting from out of town, enjoyed the selection of candles, soaps and jewelry in addition to their locally roasted coffee and selection of teas. I got the chai with a pump of lavender and it was amazing! read more

The lavender lemonade is delicious!I had a very good lunch followed by incredible dessert. A nice place to grab lunch in town!

I had some coffee a couple of mouths ago and it was great. The service is great to. Since it was kinda of slow that day it was vary fast than expected. It was about 5 or so minutes. read more

Such a great place. The atmosphere is so relaxing. The food and coffee selection is always phenomenal. The owner is the sweetest lady and so wonderful My favorite place in Urbana!! read more

Best Reuben anywhere. A warm and friendly gem in downtown Urbana. Top of the line coffees!

Okay, okay, okay - stop giggling. The old ladies don't get the reference. I've popped in here for an occasional sandwich when I've been in town (not often, and usually Crabill's always wins my Urbana trip lunch stops). It's nothing phenomenal, but sometimes, it's just what you were looking for. Go get an eye full! read more

Cheesecake is delicious-- creamy, fresh, not too sweet. I had the chocolate chip. Each day is a new flavor I think. This isn't a place for hipsters. If you go in thinking about tea houses in bigger cities, you will be sorely disappointed. You can, however, order a cute little pot of tea for one. read more

Oh, no. I hate to do this, but after writing my initial review it got me hungry for a trip out to Urbana, and sadly, Tea Baggers did not live up to my expectations this time. The first thing I noticed was that there was one lady running the entire front end. Secondly, the menu had been condensed. and many of my favorite sandwiches were no more. Thirdly, the place was really dirty. I'm talking like cobwebs and dust everywhere, especially in the retail area where they sell their teas, and knick-knacks. Plus, the hubby noticed the coffee maker was pretty dirty as well, and needed a good scrub down. Lastly, Our bill was pretty outrageous for two underwhelming (untoasted---not usual for TB's) sandwiches, which I could have made at home myself. Not to mention we had to wait a good ten minutes to get checked out at the register, while the one woman show put in a carry out order. This is disheartening to say, but I won't be back until some changes to Tea Baggers is made. I'm not saying CHANGE the restaurant, but at least tidy up a bit and get organized!!! read more

Nice setting, wonderful owners and the food is very good. I don't go here often however because I only have an hour for lunch. The pace here is slow as they make everything fresh and the owners are the only employees. So, they do a lot of multi-tasking. On a busy lunch break it's taken me an hour and a half to get in and out. So, I would suggest saving this trip for a day off with friends, shopping the stores downtown and having a peaceful, delicious lunch. They also have a nice little selection of wines to take home. Really is worth a stop! read more

Lovely coffee and sandwich shop that serves morning and afternoon. The owners are great and so so friendly! It's the two of them doing it all. So you are sure to get all the attention you need. The panini menu has so many choices. Soups and sandwiches are handmade and tasty. Blended coffee flavored by the owners themselves. Many choices of coffee and tea. The lavender lemonade is a great choice for a hot day or a pick me up. My favorite sandwich is The Garden Deck! Turkey with cucumber slices, fresh greens, tomatoes, red onion and herb mayo on your choice of bread. Teabaggers has been around over 20 years. It's a great place to enjoy. I come often and I don't have to tell them what I want! Love that!! The antique shops next door aren't too bad either! read more

I buy some of my favorite tea here. If you love unusual varieties of tea, this place is worth stopping at. My favorites are the Honey Ginseng and Ginger Peach. They also have a variety of decaf options, which can be hard to find. They serve lunch as well. I gave one of their sandwiches a try, but wasn't impressed. It wasn't bad, but it also wasn't an experience worth going out of the way to repeat. read more

Love this place. It's been around for years and has the same owners. Food is always good, and their Reubens are to die for!!! Also try their lavender lemonade!!! read more

I'm wokring across the street from the place so it's easy to get to. The brewed coffee is so-so. The place also sells coffee beans (whole and possibly ground). I will try their whole bean coffee and make it at home. It's a little priced for what I've had. read more

Grew up in Urbana and on Teabaggers. Each time I am in town from LA, I stop in for egg salad sandwich and an ice cap. Delicious!

LOVE this place. It is a mist every time I come to town. Great people. Great food.

Awesome food and the atmosphere is great, you don't want to be In a hurry, just enjoy the food and service!!!!!

Where do I begin. First, if you are searching for a coffee shop in Urbana, Teabaggers is the absolute best. Problem is they are not found on a search for coffee shops in Urbana. But that is being corrected. I love the owners. They are so caring, loving and focused on having the freshest and best tasting food you will find in Urbana and the surrounding area. From Sandwiches, to tens of home created flavored coffees and teas, to delicious soups, and salads and . . . I give them a five in every area. They have a spinach salad, that doesn't have spinach - and is the best spinach salad I've had. I am not a wine-drinker, that much, but have tasted their wines - great variety and excellent. You don't want to miss Teabaggers if you are coming to or living in Urbana. 5 star all the way. read more

Today was my first time eating at tea baggers. When First walked I thought to myself this is a nice place. There was only one lady working and i was told she was the owner and she wasn't friendly. She seated our party of 8 which 3 were kids begging for a drink. she never came over and offered us drinks. About 15 mins maybe even 20 she finally came over. $1.75 for one can of pop was crazy and a bottle of water was 1$1.95. That was bad. Also when my child split his drink she never came over to help. I had to go to the bathroom to get paper towels. When we got our food which was good i couldn't believe the owner who sad she has kids served the adults first and made the kids wait for their food. That was big no no to me. After we ate we had to wait a very long time to get our bill and we i did get the bill i couldn't believe the price. $25 for one peanut butter sandwich, chicken salad sandwich, pasta salad and 3 pops. I WILL NEVER be back. read more

I am truly AMAZED with the food and beverages at this establishment!! Given that majority of the items that make up their menu are created by the owners, is awesome!! I can't say enough about the food!! Also, the environment and customer service is superb! Nice people that go above and beyond to make their customers happy and comfortable. Love this place and wish I could visit more often!! read more

Awesome place to eat! The food is wonderful! And the staff is very accommodating. Always willing to please!

Two wonderful people run this restaurant. Grant makes up his own recipes for Panini's and other sandwiches. It is a quaint quiet place to have breakfast or lunch. Yummy lattes, muffins. Rotating artwork that is for sale hanging on the walls. Very friendly. Great place to eat read more
