Home Depot and Lowes are general hardware stores, they do not carry high-quality or hard to find specialty items. For high-quality specialty items, you need to go to specialty stores, and when it comes to hydroponics Healthy Harvest Hydroponics is defintitely one of those stores. I was looking for a hard to find soil additive, and after doing some research I found that Healthy Harvest Hydroponics distributed it. They didn't have it in stock, but they ordered it and I picked it up a couple of days later. While I was there I decided to browse around, the place looks small from the outside, but once in, I realised how huge this place is. They have just about anything you are looking for in regards to gardening/growing. I saw varying grow lights, hard to find soil nutrients, climate control devices, clone devices, greenhouses & tents, soil & pots, and plant care devices. I have never set foot in a hydroponics store and it's always has been an interest. This store doesn't just cater to the field of hydroponics alone. It's also a store for all levels - hobbyist, beginners and etc. From premium fertilizers, to lights, planter trays, pots and much more. Sam and Gus were extremely helpful; even when the store was busy. Very informative and passionate staff, plus I love the fact that they are not aggressive associates but also educate you along the way. I definitely recommend people to visit this store if they can, I feel like you'll something new every time you visit. If you are looking for seed starting trays, seedling pots, planter tray domes and beginning planting tools check them out. Some of the things I were purchasing on amazon they also carry in store at great pricing and you don't have to bulk buy them. You can grab 1,2, 10 without having to pay either a ridiculous shipping rate, or buy a large quantity. It was a pleasure shopping at this store - looking forward to my next visit!
