We took a brief tour on the golf cart and I picked out a Sweetheart Lychee and a Barbados Cherry. Each time I was going to buy, I was pointed to the ugly ducklings, not the nicer trees that were shown at first. Determined to purchase something after driving an hour and wanting to support them, I bought the trees anyway. I've done enough gardening to know when a nursery is trying to sell you their 2nd rate stock The staff member carefully loaded the trees into my car. The office was small but efficient. My friend tried to make small talk. I was looking to leave. I paid in cash and we were on our way. In the future, I would buy from other nurseries that are willing to sell me better quality product.
