Ok, so this review is way overdue! I love this place. My husbands side of the family had a Family Reunion about 2 weeks ago & my in-laws were in town staying in College Park area. I live on the Southside now too since I got married, but lived in Inman Park for 71/2 & loved my nail spas around that area as well. So, you know I am familiar with great customer service & quality nail spas. Well, we were pressed for time & I wanted to enjoy our experience for nail day & found this place! I was so pleased with the customer service and quality work by Jenny, her husband, & staff that I will be back. I got gel polish over my natural nails & French deluxe pedicure. I've been looking for other good nail salons in the South Fulton area and decided to stop here because of the positive reviews I read. Waste of time and almost $30. When I arrived there were about 2-3 people ahead of me waiting for different services. This would've been fine if the shop had more than 3 people working. But, I decided to wait. The owner and workers were really nice so I figured I could spare an extra 30 minutes or so. I sat in the waiting area for about 45 minutes and was then moved to a station where I thought she'd immediately begin my nails. I ended up waiting an additional 10 min. here. Turns out she was still in the process of doing someone else's nails and was starting mine while her gel polish soaked off. Again, no big deal. She finally begin buffing the polish off my nails and stopped halfway through to finish the other person who was soaking. So I waited ANOTHER 20 min and begin to browse the colors to pass the time. When she was finished I was back waiting at her station thinking surely she'd be finishing mine now. Instead, she quickly waxed someone who came after me eyebrows. By this point I'm annoyed but I'm already 2 hours into this experience so there's no way I'm leaving. In the midst of this 3 other customers come in. Needless to say this made her RUSH my fill. If I've waited patiently for hours, the least I'd expect is a neat, detailed experience. She rushed the shaping and buffing amongst other things. A 3 1/2 hour nail visit for a fill-in. BUT she was very kind, the shop was clean, and she repainted my nail after I messed up a piece. A few of the customers even seemed to be regulars. Though I left unsatisfied, their personable attitude alone would make me try this shop again on a less busy day. read more

Don't go here. When I walked in, I told them that I wanted a refill and my toes painted. Waited 40 minutes just to get my toes painted and was told I had to wait another 40 to get my nails done because of some ghetto ass customers that they had....never again . This is a little hole in the wall nail shop, but the staff is amazing. All the ladies work their asses off all day & make sure you leave happy. They work as a team to get you out and they're all equally talented so you don't have to worry about who takes care of you. From the first day I came here i haven't gone elsewhere. Most of their clients are regulars, so I feel like that says a lot about their work ethic. They take clients till the last minute before they close, it's crazy. They are about their money and I love it. Great place read more

I decided to give this place a try, because of all of the good reviews I saw on here. I'm glad that I did. They did a great job on my nails. My mani & pedi both look great. Also the prices are very affordable and reasonable. Jenny is great & I even saw her do 2 sets of eyebrows while getting my nails done. She did great with those, as well. The women who run the shop do a beautiful job of providing a variety of services, doing all of them well and being very friendly and helpful. My girlfriend and I found them by accident one night just because they were open late and I've been going every since, even when I moved into Buckhead. I still now go all the way back down to camp creek to get my nails done. They also have a great makeup tattoo artist by appointment. read more

This is definitely my go-to place to get my nails done. It's always quick efficient and friendly. They have numerous options as far as services and polish colors. The prices are very reasonable and the quality of work is excellent in my opinion. The shopping center is located and can be a little off-putting but I haven't had any issues ever since I started visiting this particular location. They do get really busy so I would suggest going earlier .It really doesn't matter what day you go on because it seems like there's always people there. The staff is generally in good spirits and very accommodating. They do have Wi-Fi which is always a plus. Facilities are clean. And if you do have to wait there are options to eat in the plaza as well. I have a short overlay and I get a refill with gel polish which totals to be $22. That's makes sense for me. I went somewhere in a hurry to get my polished done and they charged me $15 just for gel polish which is absurd. So that just lets me know to make sure I always have time to come here. read more

Its 6:58pm & the nail shop closes at 8:00. Its 1 person in her chair. I've gone there for the past year just to get my lashes done because she does good work. I always tipped her well over 20% so I stop by ordinarily at that time. October, November, December January & February because it's not as busy it's literally no one waiting and she told me 2 hours every time as she did today. As you can see I've given Jenny several chances to give me better customer service so 1 star is given because I have yet received good customer service. Do not waste your time or tip money your service is not appreciated. read more

So I'm new to the area and wanted to try this place since it had 5 whole stars. For starters the plaza that it's in has a check cashing, laundromat, liquor store and metro pcs, ideal places people like to hang out in front of. Upon entering I disliked the flow of the shop as it is very small with a lot of stuff packed inside. They look like low key hoarders and bins were overflowing with towels but I sat down anyway. The male technician did my overlay wonderfully. And the young lady did a great job on my pedicure. Prices were reasonable and technicians were polite. Honestly everything was going good until a tech begin to bathe her toddler in the sink. I wish I hadn't seen that but I did so as much as I liked their service I doubt it very seriously if I'd be back. That foolishness was very unsanitary for both clients and that butt naked child. Skill wise they are a 5 but customer service, cleanliness, aesthetics and neighborhood are all 1's so I rate them in the middle. read more

I had to create a YELP profile just to give this nail salon a review. First of all the CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS THE WORST THAT I'VE EVER HAD AT ANY NAIL SALON. I decided to visit this nail salon based on all of the immaculate reviews. When I first pulled up to the salon, the area seemed a little sketchy but I didn't let that stop me from getting serviced here, I've been to plenty of nail salons in sketchy locations and received great service. For starters, as soon as I walked in I was greeted with just a Hello. Not "Hello, what do you want done today" or something similar just Hello. I proceeded to tell the lady that I wanted a fill-in and pedicure. She told me to pick a color and sit down in the pedi chair. After doing all of this moving around I noticed I was getting hot. There were no fans, no air circulating it was just HOT. I asked for a bottle of water they told me they only had gallon water, so I said no thanks and went to my chair. At this point I'm hot as hell and just wanted them to service me so I can get to some cool air. The Service: So, I don't usually get pedicures because I don't like my feet. It's been a touchy area for me ever since I was younger, so I'm just now starting to feel comfortable with getting my toes done. It had been about 3 weeks since my last pedicure at another place, and I didn't care for their service either so I've been looking for a top tier nail salon ever since I've moved to Georgia. Nonetheless, I sat down in the chair, put my feet in the water and waited for the lady to give me a pedicure. She sat down and as soon as she lifted my foot out of the water she said "How Many Years Has It Been" and pointed to my foot. I thought that was kind of rude, but I told her it's been about 3 weeks and she said "Oh honey..." And began to speak to her colleagues in her native language. I was very annoyed while she continued to give me a pedicure. Next: The Fill-In. While I'm sitting in the chair the next lady started my fill-in. She looked at my nails and frowned and said "Where did you get these done" and also said "I need to repair, it's going to be $25 (more than a fresh full set)" i asked her why and couldn't quite understand her but I agreed and she carried on. After the lady doing my pedicure was done she instructed me to sit down at the chair and wait for the lady doing my fill-in to come back. As Im sitting down, I noticed that the workers' children are running around and playing around with minimal supervision. I thought nothing of it and continued to wait for the lady. She sat down and started drilling my nails so hard and I would jerk every time, say ouch,... All of that and she just said "Im sorry but I got to do this to fix" I was just on 8 at this point. Not to mention she kept having to stop and tell the kids to behave. So half-way into her doing my nails, she calls her colleague over beside me. She's in my personal space standing over me, and our bodies were almost touching at this point. She just stands there and talks to the lady doing my nails in their native language. Then asks me, "oh honey let me see your nails" and just looks at them for about 2 minutes. Remind you my nails were not that jacked up and I just felt like the freak show of the nail salon! Then a couple of minutes passed by she finally left, and to top everything off... She asked me "Hey honey, are you pregnant?" which I AM NOT! Yes, I have gained some weight the past year and I'm currently trying to get rid of the excess fat. But for these workers to nitpick at every single one of my insecurities, I was just floored. Maybe I am being sensitive of the subject matter but My intention that day was just to get pampered not pissed on. I was so angry, I wanted to walk out but I let them finish my nails and I didn't even wait for them to dry. I sprinted out of there so quickly. I just felt like a circus act or something. By the way they also had drug transactions happening right outside of their door, which is out of their realm of control, but I just felt uncomfortable from beginning until the end. Needless to say I will NEVER IN MY LIFE be going back to TD Nails. I'll just stick with Lush Nail Bar in Atlantic Station! read more
