Love the bank but this is happening more and more. New manager doesn't mange this branch very well. This is unacceptable for a busy branch.

This branch used to be one of my favorite locations. It is now my least favorite given the wait time on the drive thru line. What's the point of a drive thru if you make people wait? Only 1 window out of 3 works at a time and you have no room to back out or pass through. One hour+! Waste of my time on a Saturday! The mobile app is faster than waiting for these reps to help you. TD Bank - Still waiting. - Banks & Credit Unions Near Me - Ridgewood, New York

I am aware of covid-19 and some branches are closed ....with that said, I stood on a line for well over an hour and a half.. no joke. to cash 2 checks..is wasn't bad enough they started taking deposit only people and leaving my line at a stand still for over 15 minutes. I did not see the fairness in that move. I finally hand in my 2 checks and my drivers license, only to be told I never updated my Arizona license ID so she cant cash my checks ...WHAT!#@&?. I don't ..never did have an Arizona ID. Supervisor please.. GEEZ..I stated I have been coming to this branch since it was Commerce Bank. I live around the corner 19 years..what in the hell...finally a second person got it right.. last note here is your female security guards are nasty. I'm sorry, the don't talk nice to person. I've been banking at this branch for 2 1/2 years. While the customer service reps on the platform are friendly and helpful, other areas of the branch are lacking. When I need to use a teller, there always seems to be a line and not enough tellers. Often there is only 1 teller working when there are 5 or 6 people waiting. The ATM in the vestibule is out of service almost as often as it is available to use. I recently found out why. I put my card in the machine to get cash and that was the last time I saw my card. It ate it and I had to spend the next half-hour in the branch to get a replacement. Methinks it is time to replace that machine. These guys really need to get more customer focused. read more

Even though I'm going threw a tough time and my friend stole all my money from my account and the bank and there policy found me liable to all the money that his girl stole from me .... everyone tried to help me as much as they could ! They are super convenient but we should really be helping American banks not Canadian just think about that ! read more

Service is pretty good. The penny arcade is nice. The tellers are friendly, except a couple of times, but majority of the time, they got a smile on. I love the fact that they are pet-friendly. Got doggie treats and a water bowl on the side. Too bad there's only one ATM here. If there were one more, it would be nice. When the bank is closed, sometimes the ATM can generate a tiny line, but the fact that I'm getting money out and there are people waiting around me and for me makes me very uneasy.... read more

Worst bank ever . My daughter is travailing aboard and her Debit card dose not work due there is no chip . She's away and has ZERO money .Update your cards . She was there before traveling and she sat down with your people . At no time no one advised her . They told her you don't have to tell us your traveling. I lost my td bank card and I just came in to get a new one. The staff behind the desk did not greet me, they were not friendly, just told me to sit down and wait for customer service to help me. I usually do my transactions in long island and the staff members are usually friendly. This was a surprise. I am not coming back here. read more

"Americas most convenient bank" is a pretty ironic statement, considering it's the most inconvenient bank in existence. The Penny Arcade is broken 90% of the time, the lines are always out the door, and closing an account here is about as easy as cloning your dog. Managers couldn't care less, staff has no idea what they're talking about. Stay far away. read more

In reading these reviews I had to check that I was actually reading the reviews of my branch. I've never had problems with the tellers. They've always been helpful and friendly. I do wish they had more than one ATM machine though. I also wish that if you want to take $100 out of it you don't get a $100 bill. They don't give you a choice in that ATM. So in order to get $100 in twenties you have to do 2 transactions. That's annoying. A lot of their ATM's in the city give you the option of choosing your own breakdown of bills. read more

TD bank has done wrong by me and I've been robbed of my own money by them. In APRIL, I went to Stop & Shop and swiped my card 3 times, all of which were denied. I ended up using my credit card from a different bank to pay. I realized I actually was charged for those first 3 swipes when I got home, called to dispute it and was told I'd get back my first two charges automatically but that the 3rd would go under an investigation. I understood there was a protocol to follow and was very patient. After a few weeks I called again and was told it was still under investigation. Since then I've spent hours upon hours on the phone with TD bank and spoke to many managers that told me that the investigation is taking long because Stop & Shop had not returned the money to the bank. At one point I had a conference call with TD bank and Stop & Shop in which I found out that Stop & Shop sent back all 3 payments to TD. TD bank stated they only received 2, which is false, they just hadn't applied it to my account. The investigation continued. A few months ago a manager at TD told me to bring in a statement to a TD location to prove I paid with another card. I brought that statement in on October 16th. The woman, Carolina, who helped me was kind but didn't see any notes on my account about what to do with that statement, she saw the notes about the investigation but nothing directing her with what to do with the statement once I brought it in. She told me she placed it in the system and to call her in a week to check the status of the situation. I called her a week later and she told me nothing came up yet and to give it a few more days. Days later I received a notice in the mail from TD stating that the investigation has been completed and that I would not be receiving the money back since the claim was filed on October 16th and was past the 60 day time limit. I called TD right away and told them I filed the claim the date it happened on April 20th and that I've been dealing with this investigation very patiently but that this was downright wrong. I spoke to customer service and then a manager and nobody there could see any notes on my account for anything before October 16th. Somehow everything was erased and all of those grueling hours I've spent on the phone fighting for MY money back have suddenly become non-existent. I find this horrifying and irresponsible of TD bank. I no longer trust TD bank after 10 years of being a loyal customer. I've been jerked around and robbed for 6 months and I'm officially filing a police report for fraud and contacting the Better Business Borough. I will continue to share this story across all social media platforms until my money is given back to me. All of those phone calls have been recorded and TD bank will be caught for their thievery and irresponsibility. I'm not stopping until my money is back and I'll make sure everyone I know knows that TD cannot be trusted because they will steal from you! read more
