I walked in today with a pretty clear request. The desk area had no open seats and a large group of people were waiting because there was only 1 staff member present and a woman redirected others to either contact me back another time or to see one of the 2 tellers. The tellers rolled there eyes because they are not able to help then redirect us to a 1-800 phone number with no other help. It's really pointless to have a brick and mortar building at that point. It has finally inspired me to move my money elsewhere!

Citizens bought out Investors, closed…read morethe Setauket Investors branch and moved all the accounts to the nearby Citizens branch they had recently opened in an old HSBC location. Apparently none of the Investors personnel were picked up. I tried to open my four "new" Citizens accounts on their website. The personal checking and savings came right up, but not my two business accounts. I spent over 2.5 hours on the phone (90% of which was on hold). The two people I did speak to tried their best, but apparently the business account was somehow mislabeled in the transition and could not be linked to the others. The second person said it could only be fixed by business account staff and mercifully advised me to go to the branch rather than being placed on a long hold for a third time. The next morning I went to the branch where I spent close to an hour waiting then watching the gentleman doing exactly what I did the previous day, this time via a chat screen--without success. He told me he would continue working on it during the day and I left him with my phone number. He never got back to me. The following day I moved the accounts to TD--which by the way was paying five times the interest rate on the savings account. Nice people at Citizens, but miss the folks at Investors. 3.5 hours wasted with Citizens, hours opening up new accounts/transferring funds, plus the cost of ordering new business and IOLA account checks that I'll never get back. But voting with my feet is better than taking it out on the front line people, when the issue was with the back office. Hopefully I'll be happier with how TD does things.

It's understaffed, the service is terrible, and it often seems like the employees just don't want you to be there. I've occasionally had a friendly staff member but it's certainly an exception to the rule. Their app is great but aside from the ATM, it's pointless to enter- I'd rather keep my money in a can buried in my my backyard.

I visited this location on Tuesday August 9th 2022 in order to deposit a Money Order made out to my…read morebusiness into my personal checking account. (I had uploaded my business insurance information to Chase Back Office which links my Business to my Name which has allowed me to deposit checks made to my business to my personal account). David (The Branch Manager) Was Extremely rude, nasty and very unhelpful. He kept telling me I cannot deposit that check because I did not have a DBA which is wrong. David was very argumentative, I asked him to De-Esculate the situation multiple times and he did not. I Asked David multiple time to look at April 12th 2021 which is when the information was uploaded and I was cleared to deposit these checks, David refused and eventually told me to leave the location. I drove to the Farmingville Location where I sat with a Patrica. She was EXTREMELY HELPFUL with my situation. She found the document I was referring to and went to deposit the Money Order. Unfortunately she could not deposit it because David from the Miller Place location Flagged my account which Put a Non-Reversible Restriction on my account. This Restriction that David put on my account marked my account as Fraudulent. I have been a Happy Chase Customer for 12+ years but after the actions of the Branch Manager David, I was forced to close my account. The option to re open a new account was available however after the Uncalled for negative experience that David had caused for a chase customer, I do not feel as though Chase as a company respects their customers, this is due to the unprofessionalism displayed by David the Branch Manager at Miller Place Chase. I also would like to add that I ask David to provide me with the District Managers Contact information, he provided me with an incorrect number. I was however able to contact the District Managers office on the correct number after the Manager at Farmingville provided it to me. In my opinion, David does NOT respect Chase customers. David was so quick to assume I was wrong and after I left the branch, David went on to put Fraudulent Flags on my account which led it to be Restricted. If David chose to go about his day and not cause issues for customers, Farmingville would have deposited my check with the information found in the system which allows me to do so and I would still be a Chase Customer. David made the decision for me to Close my account and take my business elsewhere. I strongly believe Chase should remove this Branch Manager from his duties and replace him with someone who listens to Customers needs as well as someone who does not Escalate situation to have such a negative ending.

I had a free checking account for 3 years then they upgraded me to a premium checking account with fees without my consent or agreement, I went and tried to get my original basic free checking and they say they will switch it right away and it lasts 2-3 days then reverts back to the 25/month fee. I have done everything they ask to change it and they at this point must be feigning incompetence as a policy because they can't seem to fix this. I constantly have to police my statements and get the un authorized fees removed and a few times they have charged the fees and used them to overdraw the account then refund the fee but try to argue the overdraft. I am so tired of them I have removed most of my business from them and switched to my credit union. Horrible experiences over and over with Citibank over 13 yrs and it's been a steady decline.
