I've been dealing with this location for a few years now and this location is in the hub of downtown London. So it's busy with all clientele from all walks of life, most of them businesses from around the area and the people who hang around the Dundas and Richmond street area. It's easy to walk to, there is street parking, but it fills up fast, so your best bet is to either find parking and walk, take the bus or just walk there. I recently came in to apply for a mortgage with my boyfriend, and the representative who we were dealing with was quite new, so he had to ask for a lot of help, which is fine, I'd rather he ask for the help. We went a couple of times, and we were able to get a good 5 year fixed rate on a mortgage, they do match their rates with competitors. The tellers when you go to make a transaction are super friendly and nice. Very helpful and converse with you. They give you good advice, but they are in sales, so they do try and sell you on some things as well, so just be weary, it's part of their job. This location also has security guards posted inside and near the atms as well, because being a downtown location, they definitely need it. This was a great location to walk to and was close to work and a lot of downtown shops if you need to take a bit of cash out, talk to a financial adviser. They're hours are posted on the doors and they're not open on Sundays. I switched from TD to Royal Bank and I must say to save $2.00 a month on service charges. Royal Bank has been a pain the ass ever since. TD Waterhouse is a much more robust and detailed design. Royal Bank is not living up to being part of the 5 major banks. How does the trading platform go down all the time during trading hours. read more

I don't know if it's me, but I've really never enjoyed going to this particular TD. When I was interested in buying TD brand ETFs, the specialist they had to help me didn't even know the proper limit for the TFSA at the time not knowing the Conservative government increased the contribution limit for that year to 10k. When I tried to tell him that, he was all like "I work in the bank, I manage money, I know more than you" and wouldn't budge on the subject. I checked with the CRA website and of course I was right. I'm not the average joe ignorant consumer especially when it comes to money. I did not buy any ETFs or mutual funds from him that day because of that. So yeah when you hear stories in the news of so called personal finance managers suffering from cell phone bill shock or overspending or anything bad to do with money, don't be surprised and think they should know better. Another time when I had to get very specific denominations of bills, their bill dispensing machine behind the counter decided to die and they had to give me the rest in coins. Normally this would be a one star review but the younger counter staff are always brilliant here so extra star for that.
