Had a very negative experience with the agent TM today, August 29, 2025. I called the Tillsonburg…read moreoffice on Monday, left a message to speak with the agent regarding home insurance on my Delhi, Ontario home which I CO own with my mother. The agent had not returned my call by Thursday. My 98 year old mother drove to the office in Tillsonburg to speak to the agent. No dice, the agent was not talking to her without an appointment. I called again and was told that she was in training, so I left another message for the agent to call. On Friday, after a 1 hour drive I entered the office at 2:45 to speak with the agent who told me that the office closes at 3pm (who runs an office that closes that early). I was annoyed about not receiving a response to my messages and told TM that there were some changes that needed to be done to the policy. I was told that I needed to book an appointment to make the changes because the office was closing in 3 minutes. I responded that obviously the company didn't need my business and I would be taking it elsewhere. I have never experienced such poor customer service. This millennial agent had absolutely no interest in listening to me for 5 minutes to find out what I needed from her company and was certainly not staying one minute past the 3pm closing. I'm flabbergasted, is this typical of customer service with this company? The agent should have been getting training in customer service. I would not recommend this company to anyone for any kind of insurance. I would leave a negative star rating if that was possible.
