Wow. Does TD Bank just not care? There are years of bad reviews on this branch. Echoing a previous review - if I could give negative stars, I would. This negative review is for Reenu. We were only here for about 10-15 minutes to make a withdrawal. Reenu was rude the whole entire time. We told her what we needed as well as directly answered her questions multiple times and she still talked to us like we were the ones being dumb. Absolutely unacceptable. Making a withdrawal is one of the most straightforward processes you could do at a bank and she made it feel like getting a root canal. Woman, this is your job. Regulate your emotions, please. Desperately understaffed. I have a account with TD, but am generally unable to deposit or withdraw money at this location near my home, because I don't want to wait in line for an hour. On Saturday, I was turned away from the door 45 minutes before closing, because the line to see a banker was too long. This is a majority-minority neighborhood. I've been working in costumer service all my life and I just experienced the worst. I know the Jackson Heights, Queens locations tends to get very busy but you (as in location) completely disappointed me today. When I arrived there was a long line that blocked the door. I do believe that's a fire hazard but who am I? How do you have three tellers and yet have only two taking transactions? The third was doing something on her terminal, which was probably important. However the line going out the door was an issue that should've been attended to first. TD Banks' slogans plastered all over the room about all these great things and your customer service. However, today you did not live up to my expectations. This is the best Halal cart I've ever had. Destroys Halal Boys, destroys Sammy's. There are actually many locations in the same company as this but I only know of another one at the Queens Mall. They have a secret masala which might be the difference, but I know it is much more than that. One time my friends and I did a Halalathon, where we tested every Halal cart in the area and this won unanimously. There is no official name, so we call it the TD Bank Cart. This is hands down the worst bank branch and worst service I have seen in my life. The only reason I have to come to this bank is that I have a joint account with my daughter who is in college. There has never been a time when I have been at this branch that the line is at least 15 deep. The customers are rude the tellers are rude and angry. Never more then 3 tellers working at a time no matter how crowded it is. I really do need to find out the secret password that some of the people seem to have that enables them to walk right up to I guess is their personal teller. THE WORST BANK EVER Worst costumer service I have ever received, what one says is different from others. My biggest mistake was to open a credit card with them because the branch manager lied to me that they have the best balance transfer for 4%, meanwhile all other banks had it lower then that, like Chase 2%, Bank of America 3%, etcetera. The craziest thing is that they do not have 0% APR for the first year of opening the credit card like every other credit card in the world. I have very good credit and the best they could do was 18%APR meanwhile the max others offered me was 12%APR. I don't want to write more about them and lose my time, but STAY AWAY FROM TD BANK. There were so many bad experiences with this bank that now I love and appreciate every other credit card and their costumer service, rates, quality, fees and everything else they offer that TD Bank does not. read more

This bank is really understaffed. There's ALWAYS a line even for basic bank transactions, but if you need to sit down with the clerk - force be with you! You need a lot's of time and patience. I am here right now - it's Tuesday, 9.50am. Only 2 clerks working - 7 customers waiting to be helped. In average, it takes about 30 minutes to help one customer - so I expect to spend at least an our waiting. Is this the Americas MOST CONVENIENT Bank? Definitely not. On the bright side - clerks are processional and nice... But there's not enough of them!...., Here is the update: Visit to this bank took over an hour. More clerks showed up after 10am. Went today 12/1/2019. I met with the supervisor and told her that due to fraud on my account I needed a new debit card. She instructed me to input this info into an ipad, along with my name. after waiting an HOUR i was told that there were two people ahead of me. After a total of 90 minutes, one of the account managers called me over and told me that they have been having problems with issuing debit cards all day and they would not be able to give me a new debit card. I was furious and demanded to speak to a supervisor. If they were having problems issuing new debit cards ALL DAY why was I not informed of this fact when I first came in? No one could give me a reason for this oversight. The supervisor spoke to the account manager in private and I heard him calling their tech support. They were able to issue me a card. Did no one think of calling tech support? This is a new low for incompetence. I know if I had gone to one of their Manhattan branches I would have been out in under 20 minutes, but I live in Queens and I needed the new card right away. Everytime I have to go to this branch I cringe because I'm sure that I will be in for a wait of more than an hour. last time I came here was for a couple of blank checks. Also took over an hour. The teller lines are always long because the tellers are usually chatting and laughing behind their desk. I am contacting TD Bank Customer service next. read more

Well this place has saved me on a few more occasions then I would think being the only bank around with a "bean counter" that is very local to me. My bank, Capital One, used to have a coin counter but it always was breaking down so they got rid of it totally. TD used to do this service for free but now I notice they charge you a percentage once you are done on your final reciept. It is still very convient to have a coin counter and not have to have an account to use it. I'm a fan. read more

This location is the absolute worst. Other locations in the city have minimal wait time, incredibly friendly and courteous staff, perfect banking Experience. This location fails every time. I live a few blocks away but it's more convenient to go to the city because the wait time here is that ridiculous. Talking to a clerk requires at least a twenty minute wait time and the atm lines are always super long. Not to mention the food cart right outside which stinks of stale food. Customer Service doesn't exist. They are lazy and they hate helping. Sadly, this is my local branch but I am always forced to go to the other branch on Northern Blvd even to withdrawal money. They have three ATM machines but only one works properly. It is very difficult to communicate your needs since most of the tellers native language is not English and to speak with a manager you have to write down your name on a list and wait. What is the waiting time....30min to 1hr and nowhere to sit. The tellers are always having intimate conversations. After today, I am never going back there. read more

Had a wonderful experience there. I was frustrated by TD Bank's excruciating wait time in ovre the phone customer service and was about to close out my account but when I went to the branch to do so, I had a long chat with the supervisor shadman and he made me remember why I chose TD over Chase. He was polite and really showed that the bank may be light years behind in over the phone customer service but the in-branch personnel make up for it. That being said, this branch is notorious for their wait time and a hit or miss customer service team. Do yourself a favor and ask for Mr. Shadman for a quick and easy experience. This is easily the worst bank I have ever been to. I have been in the branch on and off for the last 8 months as it's my neighborhood branch for my business and I have never left satisfied. The bankers don't want to help you and tell you to call the 800 # for every question and I had one banker in the middle of a conversation try to leave to go on lunch break. I spend more time trying to get answers than banking. I also hate the security on the business website ( not this branches fault) but it's so secure even I can't use it and I run the business. Ive been here numerous times and the lines are always out the door yet they will not take their jobs seriously, acting as if they're doing something so important behind their desk. When I went to the bank, I had lost my debit card and needed to replace it. I waited approximately 20 mins for the system to "start up". I was then told that I couldn't get a new card bc my ID was not valid. Now, A few weeks earlier I had checked with this branch as to what valid ID was because I was sending my passport to get renewed, I don't drive so my only other form of ID was a NYC card which has all the info as the state ID. I was told this was acceptable. Now when I'm in a pinch and need something the ID is no good. They then told me that they changed their ID policy a week ago. I asked why they hadn't informed customers and I no one answered. They then told me they couldn't help me. When I said that my money was being held hostage and got upset, they then told me that they could w/draw money using the ID.... Just not get me my ATM card. Perhaps the most egregious part of this whole interaction was the aggressive and rude tone of the manager. When I brought his lack of professionalism to his attention Ronald's only response was: well you were aggressive when I came over here. Well listen Ronald I'm sorry if your feelings are hurt... Really I am. But I'm not asking you for favors. I give you my business so in turn, services can be rendered. And if I get frustrated because you and Muhammad are wasting my time, it's on you to fix it. Not for you to give me biting sarcasm or to laugh when I give my complaints. Perhaps we have moved past the extreme that the customer is always right.... But have we replaced it with business people can be rude and lack all forms of empathy? I like td bank but just didn't like the way the stuff treated me,so I opened an ac with td bank as recommended by my sister,and after that the next day I went to deposit money to my ac and the bank was closed as in they just closed and the staffs were getting ready to go home,so I was using one of the machine to deposit the money and it won't even let me deposit all the money at once,it was too crowed there and I had to deposit my money one by one as the machine won't give me the option to deposit all at once,they have 3 machines in that bank and I don't know how old those machines are as it keeps breaking down and they down care a damn about it because they are not the ones going through the problem but the customers,so that day I was depositing money and the machine was too slow and I manage to be patient and deposit some money now the machine suddenly breaks down saying your transaction was not completed and asked me to press enter for receipt and when I did that again it said there is no receipt available right now,The machine kept coming back on and shutting down by itself so that worried me and I don't have a prove saying I deposited the money,I got worried and the employees were leaving and I pleaded them to help me as I didn't know where to go but all of them just ignored me except one Spanish lady telling me to call the number on the back of the card and when I did that it won't go through as it was asking for details which I didn't even have,I could have gone home and did that but I just couldn't leave the machine in that position,it might throw back my money when I'm not around so there was this guy(td bank employee named sakid Bari )who kept coming to the door and opening it letting the employee go and I asked him and tried to explain what it is and all I needed from td bank was little help just to let me know what to do next,I understand it was time for them to go home but I was in that position and I almost cried and I pleaded him but he closed the door on my face and told me on my face that nobody is coming out to for me as in to help me as it was closed,I just wanted them to tell me what to do as I tried calling the number too but it won't work,I understand they had to go home but I wasn't asking them to sit with me and go through everything,first time the stuff said that to me,he came to the door again and I asked him again what do you think I should do please just let me know that but again he was very rude and told me the same that nobody is coming to help me as its closed,I waited for them to come out,then 3 of them came out,and I explained the same over to the other stuff and there was another employee who asked me to go to the branch on northern Blvd as they are still open,that's it,I lost my temper and yelled at that employee as I was so angry as he didn't give me the option before and just slammed the door on my face saying nobody is coming out to help,I told him I'm not there to beg him to help me,it was his job to take care of their customers no matter what,all he could do was give me the option and try to calm me down as I was already worried but he was so rude he actually made it worst,I claimed for the amount going to the other bank and next day I went to the same bank to complain to the manager the so called sales and service manager(farheen lodhi) letting her know about the problems and she was sorry and blah blah at that very moment and took my number saying she will get back to me regarding the same,I deposited some amount but not everything got deposited so I filed a claim for missing amount and she was suppose to get back,when I wanted to talk to somebody regarding the same at that very moment they ignored me and next day my money go missing and they say they would get back,I waited for more than 10 days as the time frame given to me was 6 to 7 business days but even the manager didn't bother to get back after giving her words,she send mail to somebody and I'm sure they got back to her but it wasn't important for her to get back as she was not in my position,I'm sending a complaint letter to the head of this company,I know they are big company but they will have to do something about this,their employees in this branch are very rude as if they they are giving us business,I've tried other td branch too and it's totally different,I'm disgusted with their service overall read more
