Today, my husband and I visited the TD Bank branch located at Pleasantview and Maywood Avenue in Maywood, New Jersey. It was around 1:20 or 1:30 PM. We went to open a business account and a certificate of deposit (CD), but no one assisted us. We waited, yet no one greeted us or asked us to hold for a moment. We went there because we live in Maywood, but the service was very rude and disappointing. None of the employees cared about us; there was even someone in an office working on a computer who didn't even notice us, and the same went for the tellers. We then went to Chase Bank; we received excellent service there and opened four business accounts. We will never return to TD Bank, nor will we recommend it to our friends and family. If I can give zero stars I certainly would. I had to take my mom to the bank this morning. she needed to withdrawal and so teller service was needed. The teller helping my mom did not even greet us. she was tying away for few minutes leaving us waiting. if she was not ready for us then perhaps we could have waited for a different teller. I decided to take my mom to the machine and that's when she decided she was ready to do the transaction. I am sad that customer service in this branch is so horrible. There was no apology nor thank you from this teller. My mom is an elderly woman and the other teller that was there this morning harasses my mom in prior visits to download the app and should be doing transactions on line. Really? Then What are you there for? She is an elderly not familiar with technology. My mom will no longer be using this location. What a joke! read more

Some savings accounts charge you fees. some don't. after getting help from a call center on my issue, it's glaringly obvious how unfit management, specifically kimberly, the branch manager, is to rectify issues created by a lackluster and less than stellar system. read more

Simple and efficient, including a drive-up ATM. Staffer was friendly and quick through the drive thru, and while I wish they were open longer most days, at least they have weekend hours. read more

Stopped by before work. Noticed the bank lot was empty, but I was in a super rush so I used the drive-thru. I was in line to be helped with another car already before me. WOW, it was the fastest experience I've ever had. And, the teller who took care of me was super nice. She introduced herself, and was very professional about it. Great experience! read more

I overdrew my small business account overnight. I needed to get $1400 into my account AND call the small business 800 number for an exception so that the check would be paid... and it all needed to be done before 10:30AM. It was about 10:10 when I walked through the doors. The line was long and not moving, so I thought about using the ATM but wasn't sure if a cash ATM deposit would be credited to my account in time. I asked a group of people in the desk area if I should do an ATM deposit or do in person deposit in my situation. I was immediately helped. Kimberly told me it is better to do an in-person deposit. She immediately looked up my account. She started the back-end process while telling me to wait in line. When a teller was taking long to get back behind the counter, she implored her to be quick as time was ticking. I made the deposit. Having done the computer work before I ever finished the deposit, Kimberly was just waiting for the deposit to register so she could hit the button to allow the exception. Feeling grateful and relieved, I wanted to write a positive review for this employee that went above and beyond. I asked and received her business card and tucked it into my pocket. So Kimberly knew the back-end processes well enough to advise me to do a teller deposit instead of an ATM deposit (I am a former computer programmer, so I know how different processes hit the database via different routes/times/systems/procedures). She knew about the exception process and did the work herself instead of making me wade though the phone options, wait for a small biz rep, etc. I figured Kimberly deserves to get customer praise so her boss is aware of her competence and efforts. I finally looked at her card. Kimberly Lupica is a Vice President and the Store Manager in Hackensack. As a small business owner I should have known so competent a person would not need to be praised to her boss, she IS the boss. Thank you, Kimberly!! read more

Bank has a big parking lot and lots of customers, but they seem to have some of the slowest tellers ever. I don't know if it's a TD Bank thing, but I wish they would have more tellers. Nice bank though. read more

AWFUL! Took my quarters to the arcade to cash in. I counted them beforehand 5+ times to ensure that it was going to be accurate. My total should have been $360. The arcade read $305! I alerted the teller who checked the machine for loose coins (there weren't any). I left my information so they could contact me. They have not. I contacted them and they said they were getting the machine checked and they would contact me. Still waiting (almost two weeks later). $55 lesson learned. In the future, I will just take the time to wrap the coins and deposit them. How do I know that machine doesn't shortchange everyone and TD Bank profits as a result? Who, besides myself, counts their coins before going to the arcade? Never again. read more

Poor poor service. They are horrible and very rude maybe because I am black and have money in my account that's why they are jealous. They don't understand that we customers are the reasons why they are there. They always look down on me for some reason. I never leave there in peace always having quarrels with some body. If you don't want to mess up your day don't go there because they still surely give you bad vibes. They only have negative vibes. read more

This branch is the closet to me but I will have to go out of my way from now on. This branch is AWFUL! The employees are a bunch of miserable people that do not greet you or offer anything until you're practically in their face waving! I have had 2 major banking issues and have gone to this branch for their help and I either get the run around or told that there's nothing they can do. Are your employees not trained? I have never even see the manager there. Who is running this place? The old lady with the long ass bright nails is a nasty little one- if you're there avoid her at all costs- she will make it worse.
