On multiple occasions, she has initiated verbal altercations with me in public and engaged in persistent harassment. Her explosive temper is genuinely alarming. ​I find it difficult to believe that management is aware of her conduct; if they are, it is concerning that she is permitted to represent Citizens Bank in such a negative light. From mystery fees, to terrible automated customer service calls when I have an issue, I always hate using Bank of America beyond the ATM. I frequent the Cranston location as the staff here are always wonderful. Megan, the branch manager, is always pleasant and extremely helpful whenever I have special needs. I went in with my boyfriend to fill out an application for a secured credit card and she personally walked us through the process step by step. She even followed up with a couple of calls to give me status reports as she got notifications of approval. The tellers there are always sweet and smiling, chatting with me about different things. The tellers make a personal connection with me every time my boyfriend and I come in. They even give my dog treats in the drive-thru when she is with me on my errands. I highly recommend Coastway to anyone looking for a more personal banking experience. Here you always feel like a person and not another account number. I look forward to moving more of my primary banking services over to Coastway.

Some of the original staff call me Mr. Name, nice to be remembered. Almost never a wait inside and most times you are first or second in drive thru. Safe deposit boxes offered. ATM inside and a drive up also. Grounds are well kept and always clean. It was the first bank in the area. I just like being treated as a person, not like I am lucky to bank here. A great banking choice if you want to be appreciated.

Recently, I came here because I needed a document notarized. I called ahead just in case the notary only goes into the office on certain days and certain times. Thankfully, Adam is always there and I didn't need to make an appointment. I went to Chase later on the same day and got my document notarized. He was a pleasure to speak to and the process was very smooth.

I have had a pending "in review" application since last week and have heard nothing. I called yesterday as this is now urgent for me and yet, still nobody at Citizens seems to care. My phone calls end in "I'll send an email" "you'll hear back tomorrow" or even, "that is not a customer facing department" . How pathetic!!! I go to LinkedIn and see hundreds of Vice Presidents for Citizens bank and yet, they all must be in the same room just emailing each other about meetings to schedule and meetings to attend, while the customers take their money elsewhere. I can no longer go to a local branch because you've converted the convenient locations with off hours to virtual booths. Again, not technology tested nor tried, just simply rolled out to be cleaned up as you go along. Same to be said about opening business accounts online. If the technology doesn't work and is not 100% functional, put it back into beta and production. Currently, it's a complete failure. My pending application # is ae46067cca. I'm sorry to see the decline in service level and availability to consumers that Citizens bank has reached. I recently paid off my home equity loan. They say they sent me a release. Did they really? Hard to believe, Now, I need that release so I can clear my title and sell my house. They are charging me $50 for a copy, which is essentially a piece of paper. I have to go to the branch and pay for it upfront and then bring it to town hall myself. Other banks do that for you. Stay away from this bank. They are the absolute worst. I'll be spreading the word. Too bad there's not a zero rating. That would be my vote.
