Buyer beware!! Three years ago, when my mother was 82, she paid a premium price for pavers from TCC Materials. If I could post a photo you would be able to see what her money bought: cracked, spalling, disintegrating stone that began after two Wisconsin winter cycles -- and is now three years in.
When I raised the matter with TCC Materials, they refused any responsibility and blamed salt damage -- the very salt every homeowner here uses to keep steps from becoming a fall hazard, in my mother's case an 85-year-old's steps. She was sold a material that can't survive ordinary winter use in the climate it's sold into. Worse, TCC Materials points the finger at the customer when it fails. This is not a company I will ever trust with money again.
It's too bad I can no longer find them on Google reviews (timely) where you could see a photo and judge the results for yourself. Decide whether you want to experience a disintegrating product result -- and have a similar conversation -- in year three. read more
