Kim is eccentric but sweet. Generally good availability here and while the vibe is not necessarily relaxing, it's usually pretty fun. I will say however this place is FILTHY. Tools are not disinfected nor is anything cleaned between patrons. Rat feces everywhere. Take a peek behind your pedicure chairs. Two friends have gotten infections from pedicures. I'm lucky I guess . Cleanliness could easily add two stars to this review if improved. As is, unfortunately, maxed out at two stars. read more

I been coming to this nail salon for about 16 years and I've had nothing but good experiences. If you know Kim she is a bit much, but she is very friendly and tries to get to know all her customers. i have literally never had such a horrible mani pedi in my entire life. every single other nail salon i've been to has never done my nails this horrible. kim destroyed my fingers, i was pouring blood mid manicure and she just wipes it away roughly and gave a half ass apology. i beg any of you reading this to please go to literally any single other nail salon in this city and it will be better. i asked for square french tip but i knew the french tip was going to be horrible so i asked for all white instead because i didn't think it was possible to mess up simple white nails. i was incredibly wrong. kim if you're reading this, if i could i would come back for a refund and a removal because this is NOT worth $85 (simple white mani pedi) i've gotten more designs for less than this. If you scroll down, you'll see that I gave this place a high rating but now I changed my mind. I went in for a full set of acrylics and got talked in to getting a pedicure and eyelash extensions. I got eyelash extensions from here last time and ended up ripping them off because they were so itchy. This time, when they got itchy, I went to a professional eyelash bar to get them removed. The woman WHO SPECIALIZES IN EYELASH EXTENSIONS AT THE EXTENSION BAR told me how awful and painful the lashes looked. I went to the hospital and it turns out I have a bacterial infection aka pink eye. Kim at Tc nails glued lashes to my skin, when they are actually supposed to be glued to my real lashes. Eyelash removal is supposed to take 20-30 minutes. My removal took an hour and a half and HURT. I will never go back here, except for when I request a refund. Do not put yourself through the torture. Update: I was issued a refund but only after Kim yelled at me for writing this review saying I "hurt her feelings." She blamed my hormones for the infection.....that's not how bacterial infections work. And that's not how you treat customers. Extremely unprofessional and I will be contacting the board of health. read more

i went to this nail shop and absolutely hated my experience. when i walked in there was nobody to greet me nor was there any kind of service i had to most things myself. after sitting down i wasn't even able to choose a color without being rushed and when the lady was doing my nails she often got frustrated with what i wanted. also when other customers came in they started rushing on my nails. i didn't end up getting what i wanted they basically pick out my whole set for me because they lack quality and have no natural talent for nails. they prioritized the other customers needs over the one that is right infront of their face. i will no longer be going to this nail solon because its ass. read more

Well first of all when I walked into the salon they were doing waxing in the middle of the salon not in a private room initial turn off when she sat me down she talked I told her what I wanted and then she proceeded to do a semi-half assed job when she went to cut the nails that were being put on she didn't use cuticle scissors she used regular scissors she didn't use a heat lamp to cure the nails she used a regular desktop lamp it seem like it went way too fast and not even a week later the nail started popping off and you could see the glue . never go again read more

I came here to get my nails refilled. First I would like to say the noise was loud. The ladies spoke to each other so loud with no respect for the patrons. Then my technician proceeded to bash another customer to me. Which was none of my Buisness. In addition I asked my nails to be done a certain way and she did them the opposite. I mean if I say don't cut and you cut can not be that hard. After doing one had someone comes in for an eyebrow wax she stops to do that??? Finish with me 1st please. Regardless last time I go. Just left from my first experience with this salon. I received eyelash extensions from Kim. Kim was fun, sweet and personable. She was upfront with pricing and was very thorough. I did not feel pressured or upsold and am very happy with them. I've gotten eyelashes from several salons and this experience ranks higher than most. Pricing is very fair for work. read more

My daughter went there to get her nails done for prom. Kim insisted on still doing her nails despite the power going out. The nails were crooked,some were too big and weren't properly glued, some broke, Kim didn't even shape the nails and the polish job was horrible. We tried to go back several times to get them fixed and the place was closed. We ended up taking the nails off and getting them redone at another nail salon. I can't believe Kim scammed my daughter out of 30$.This place needs to be shut down. read more

I went in to get a mani/ pedi. I had to wait until Kim the owner ate her corn. I had to tell her she was full of butter and corn all over her dress and hair. She then proceeds to try to remove the Shellac I had done from another salon. Who rocks, but was closed and I needed a mani ASAP. She was unsuccessful taking off my shellac and told me its no good because she didn't know how to take it off. Kim then starts scrapping my nail and skin. I told her numerous times please stop until I yelled of pain because she scrapped my skin so hard I started bleeding. My nails and skin hurt so bad I had to tell my pedi girl to please stop in the middle of my pedi. Kim proceeds to charge me $30 because I had Shellac she didn't know how to take off. I walked out of that salon in pain and disgust. She then took the stuff she was doing my mani and started doing someone else nails with everything she had just used on me. Shame on me for going back to her after she had originally fixed one of my acrylic nail that chipped and had to take off my whole set due to poor work. so I don't know if i'm annoyed because of my experience or because i'm pregnant so everything bothers me but anyways my normal nail place, infinity nails, has been closed for a week since they're on vacation but my mom insisted on going to get our nails done knowing our nail place was closed. We came to tc nails and first we did our pedicures .. it was unsanitary. they used the foam thing to separate my toes and then they put it right back in the drawer with the rest like ?? that's disgusting tbh. the lady who was doing my acrylics was talking loud on the phone, she was on facetime and barely paid attention to my nails. also the total was $118. it was 2 pedicures, one gel manicure and one gel acrylic. normally a gel acrylic costs me $30 at my nail salon and like $10 for ped with the nails but the woman said my whole thing was like $68 or something like that but expensive for a shitty job and experience. it was annoying how she kept going on her phone to text while doing my nails honestly that's what really bothered me cause i don't like sitting for long. i just don't think you should go to TC nails, go to infinity nails instead cause my nails last me a month and they're beautiful. also the lady who does my nails is the best i really wish i didn't cheat on my nail salon lol read more

My sister and niece go there always, and I can see why. They are so good at what they do!! The get their nails done with The owner Kim and Lin. I had Lin, and she left my nails looking amazinggggg. This salon needs updating. Didn't look clean. Heating system wasn't working properly...very cold inside. Manager talks too much and doesn't hear you. Went in to have eyebrows filled and came out with waxed eyebrows. Took technician 1-3/4 hours to remove gel polish and redo nails. Wrong nail polish. Didn't correct because at this point I just wanted to get out of there. Will not recommend. read more

I would have given this place a zero star because I went to get my nails done and the next day they lifted. Her pedicure sections are used over and over the pedi stone which is not sanitizing at all. Will be used on every client. Which is not good because that's when disease and all can be transfer. Kim is also rude when I asked her to sand my nails straight. She said why didn't I tell her before I left. I said your the nail tech. Your suppose to do them straight and correctly. I should not be telling you how to do nails. That is not my job that is hers.
