Randomly found this place while exploring Rue Montorgueil and I was pleasantly surprised by TAÂM. Though its a smallish restaurant the service, atmosphere and food made this a great dining experience.
The interior of TAÂM is very clean and comforting with a Morocan/Maghreb feel to it. I enjoyed it a lot. They played some relaxing music here (at least when I went) and what surprised me is they serve food on metal platters. This is exactly the type of place I was looking for after a long day of work.
I am not an expert on Maghreb food but It seems like the food here is pretty authentic. The couscous was great... honestly before coming here I always thought couscous was steamed vegetables or something but I am happy that its actually more of a grain dish. I ordered some hot spiced tea as well and It was delicious! Overall the meal was fairly filling and pleasant.
I don't go to many North African restaurants so this place was a delight to go to. If you love spiced tea and a nice comfy place to eat I would highly suggest TAÂM . read more
